Victoria Noelia Bustos, meanwhile, is NO cherry-pick. Katie Taylor is taking a step up in class in a unification fight in her 9th outing in the pros. Bustos has only ever been defeated by two people, one a longtime top 5 women's p4p mainstay.
Dude there are some on here that believe Duhaupas would be a handful for Cassius Clay himself. (and, in the other direction, guys that assume that Sulęcki is a bum since they happen to have never heard of him)
Well, since I'm assuming they're not all severely brain damaged I'll go with them being just full of **** agenda pushing fanboys. Duhaupas might have teensy chance at springing an upset, if he comes in in the shape of his life fully motivated with the right game plan. Jacobs vs. Sulęcki however.... IMO is a genuine toss up, I have no idea who's going to win this one. Stylistically Sulęcki presents Jacobs with a few issues he hasn't had to deal with in a while, and obviously vice versa. Sure Sulęcki didn't look great against Culcay, but neither did Andrade, he tends to make guys look like ****, anyway, that's irrelevant here, because Culcay and Jacobs fight nothing alike.
Jacobs taking easy fights. He should fight Charlo, not a bum.................or go up to 168............
fine--but does Miller claim to be the best fighter in his weight class? because Jacobs sure does it's been nearly one year now and still Daniel will go on to anyone who will listen that he should have been given the W vs GGG, which in fact, judges' home cooking made the cards close enough to make his claims appear credible from a distance
Sulecki is rock solid i rate him just below (Jermell) Charlo, Hurd, and Lara, and but above Ali. to me the real question is why Jacobs couldn't make a fight with an elite MW, and if he genuinely couldn't then what about looking one division up rather than down, particularly given that Jacobs has a significant fight-night size advantage over any opponent in his own division
Duhaupas is pretty game and has size, but he got quite a beating from Wilder and Povetkin put him to sleep brutally. I have to wonder how much he has left in the tank. I'd give him a decent chance vs Miller, except for that a) he has little power and b) I think his tank is running on empty. Sad. Also, Jacobs did not beat Golovkin. I think he was more competitive than Canelo, but he still lost.
agreed--GGG clearly defeated Jacobs; that fight had no other justifiable outcome my point on GGG v Jacobs was just that Jacobs genuinely believes he's the Number One MW in the world (while Miller, as far as i'm aware, does not think the same about himself, and therefore comparing Jacobs' chosen level of opposition vs Miller's is apples & oranges)
Good card but needs a headliner . Arthur Akaov is a higher rated MW than Sulecki. This Jacobs bum couldn't even find a MW rated in the top 50.
