Probably wouldn't pay for it mate tbh. Only because theres already so much access out there you can't get through it all as it is with IFL...YouTube. Boxing magazines. Etc. Its a great idea tho. Just not enough bookworm boxing fans out there nowadays....to make it profitable I wouldn't have thought. It needs something big that people don't have access to etc. Even then its a tough sell. YouTube has loads of stuff on it already. Weigh ins/press conferences etc go up pretty quickly and easy enough to access.
For my usage: Some sort of schedule/calender/results feed with with optional notifications would be good. Also with betting odds/TV info. Clickable links through to boxrec for each fighter.... probably quite a niche market still though! Maybe a news feed of all the popular internet channels so it's slightly more accessible/more efficient than sorting through youtube. Good luck with the project, I will be interested to test it out when it comes to fruition.
If you were creating such an app I'd love to write for it. An example of my work https://imgur.com/gallery/pcNAV or https://imgur.com/gallery/lKcAK
I don’t see what an app could offer that YouTube and boxrec cant. So to answer the question I would say no. However I’m not dismissing your idea. I would download a boxing app, as said above subsidising it with adverts would be your way forward I’d imagine.
Go check out UFC fight pass, if there was a similar app for boxing focusing on different smaller boxing shows and tournaments id go for it but I wouldn't pay much more than the fight pass price which is about 4.99 a month on the year deal or 5.49 six months , or 5.99 rolling deal per month. Fight pass is a bargain for the amount of content you get , but note main ufc cards are restricted to bt sport only in UK. https://www.ufc.tv/packages

I for one enjoy old school Pancrase. Watching Bas Rutten slap guys to sleep was awesome. Best body worker MMA has ever seen.
To be honest ive never really watched it , I watched a bit of Polaris Ju Jitsu one night and fell asleep , I do enjoy seeing the submissions but I much prefer the stand up , then again its good seeing someone sinking in the rear naked choke , especially Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 1
Rutten was a vicious striker in Pancrase. He was nasty even without face punches. This content is protected
Best UFC card in my book, between the Diaz upset and Lawler vs Macdonald I can't think of a better one. Probably the greatest MMA fight and one of the biggest upsets both happened on the same night
