They should agree a 50/40 deal. Then the winner gets the final 10%.

Joshua getting the 50 as he is bigger draw.

Ortiz vs Wilder was a 1-sided beat down lol

As soon as Wilder get's realistic with his ludicrous 50/50 demand then Joshua vs Wilder can happen because I guarantee you that Joshua, Hearn and Joshua fans don't see Wilder as a threat.

The split doesn't seem like a big deal. If you watch IFL, watch any video regarding Joshua/Wilder. Hearn is telling Wilder to leave Haymon basically LMAO.

Wilder has a nuclear bomb in his right hand. A freaking nuclear bomb. Yesterday, you saw what this bomb can do in a match that he had completely lost. If I were a trainer, I would duck him, even if my boy is 3x better than him. Wilder = a lot of risk. A LOT, he packs way too much power.

It would be Spence/Brook all over again :). Why do people keep bringing up this 50/50 stuff. Why does Hearn never bring it up as an issue during IFL interviews about Wilder/Joshua. He wants Wilder to build a name in the UK LOL.

I don't feel he is ducking him at all. Why is it that a fighter doesn't fight someone for months now and they are ducking, yet really ducking is Floyd against Manny.. That was like 5 years.

It took Wilder 9 years to fight an opponent. Let that sink in for a moment.

When the fight was being discussed Hearn said he wouldn't go below 50%, later on Wilder himself confirmed it. But recently Wilder has changed his tune and said he'd agree to whatever split he is offered as long as he gets the same deal but with the bigger end in the rematch. Suffice to say he's still pricing himself out but he's showing some movement.

Personally I think both sides agreed to meet in late 2018 when they had that meeting in New York. The fight needs building, Wilder prices himself out and plays the heel until then they build the fight. Joshua likely fights Miller in the US next with Wilder on the undercard. Wilder fans and Joshua haters will keep calling the duck while Joshua fans say Wilder is pricing himself out and ducking Joshua, building interest on both sides of the Atlantic. Personally I think it's working the fight is already bigger than before, that was a record crowd last night for Wilder, will be interesting to see the TV numbers when they come out I expect a record for Wilder in terms of viewing figures.

I could be wrong. Link me to a source where Joshua said he will not negotiate below 50%. Hearn never brings it up as an issue. Hearn wants to "build"(aka stall and cash out Joshua more) Wilder's name in the UK before he makes the fight.

It's a shame Pedvetkin had to cheat. He'd have Povetkin and Ortiz on his resume now.

It's utterly ridiculous the level of power he has in his hands.

It's like a cheat code that presents itself as the ultimate equaliser in any fight.

Joshua knows he couldn't go in all guns blazing straight on the front foot, he'd have to be very careful but in any stage during the fight you are bound to get hit flush against Wilder.

I want to see the fight as I think Wilder gets lit up early. Joshua punches too hard and has too good a technique not to land on Wilder early. And when he does... job done.
