Frank is already talking about a Catterall-Davies-Flanagan mini tournament should Terry do the business against hooker!

How can he even entertain the thought of Davies getting a world title shot when he got destroyed by the tartan tornado?!

I really like Terry. I think he’s one of most underrated/mis managed fighters in the country.

Don’t get me wrong, as much as a tit Ohara is and how much he got destroyed by Taylor, he was impressive last time out in Liverpool and now he’s got a point to prove.

    I’d go Flanagan UD.

Taylor is going to be a huge force at 140, I think he has a big shot at dominating the division just a shame he’s with cyclone.

You honestly think Taylor shifts 21k tickets?
I've seen his last three and there can't have been half that total combined at all three.

I was working last night so although I seen bits and pieces of last nights action when I did get home. It's only really now I have had the chance to go over things again & review it.

Josh Taylor is developing in to a monster. No, not because he beat a late replacement southpaw at one week's notice but they way he clearly evolves. In three rounds last night he should a bit of everything again but a little more refined.

He feinted a lot, got Campos out of position but also allowed Taylor to see how Campos reacted to those feints. He moved his head off center, gave different looks and angles and was defensively responsible.

But it's the subtle things I absolutely love. The arm traps on the inside to stop Campos working, the head control when he was against the ropes in the second round until he was in a position to defend himself & knowing when to then step in and smother Campos.

For 12-0, the subtle things mixed with speed, power, timing, accuracy, footwork, foot speed, feinting, baiting, traps, jab, defence is a thing of beauty. No issues with the chin, doesn't appear to lack toughness, appears to have no stamina issues & can increase the intensity when required.

A few more fights for experience and rounds at a higher level and Taylor will be very difficult to stop at 140. Stylistically, I think with more experience and seasoning he's got the technical skills, subtlety and dynamism to give even Mikey Garcia legitimate problems at 140. Great fight. Garcia punishes mistakes which Taylor is capable of making as he likes to increase the intensity & gets overexcited but Garcia likes to control long/mid range with his jab, right hand & feet. Taylor's level changes, head movement, feints, speed & dynamism will cause him serious issues IMO. Very exciting times to be a Josh Taylor fan.

Can't word it any better. Taylor/Wee Barry asked about Catterall last night & McGuigan said a step back but also Catterall/Davies/Flanagan have a threesome going.

None of those guys beat Taylor at 140.

I don’t think they have sway with sanctioning body’s and also don’t think they will be able to entice big foreign names to box Taylor, like if he was with frank warren he would already have wbo belt and if he was with hearn would probably already have the wba title.

No chance it does 21,000. Burns v Indongo unification supposedly only did about 8,000 at the Hydro. Even casuals know Burns is one fight away from retirement.

No the Jock fans have already been very generous to Burns giving him his final large payday against Indongo.

After he conned them all by skipping the night away to a tame defeat losing every round, the Jock public know they were fleeced and won't fall for his bull again. Burns is finished and the public know it. Even a fight against Crolla would struggle to sell out a medium sized arena as people know he is also spent.

Josh Taylor needs to be matched against fighters now better than **** Davies.

His last 3 fights are like Man Utd beating Notts Forest (Davies) then winning against Newport and Backpool then when he challenges for a World Title, it will be like playing Barcelona in the Nou Camp in a Champions League Semi Final.

He needs to fight better opponents so he can beat the elite fighters and become an elite fighter himself.

Not that many at 140 a whole lot better than Vasquez to be fair as most are still unproven themselves i.e J Ramirez, Prograis, Imam, Baranchyk etc And he would have fought a better fighter than Campos if he hadn't pulled out.

We've all seen the tweet with Hank Lundy suggesting he was offered the fight so they are trying to step him up but fighters are occupied, who else is out there a good step up from Vasquez?
