A bit of realism regarding Ortiz.

    Are they?

Then why have neither of them been stopped by anybody else? 43 fights between them and only two stoppages, both by Joshua. You didn't really think that one through.

Dillian Whyte was the fighter Wilder ducked to face the geriatric btw....for half the money. Just saying.

Ortiz is easily the second best heavyweight in the division and it's not close. Any criticism about Ortiz with regard to Malik Scott are from people that didn't see that fight. Do you know why he went 12 rounds with Malik? Cuz Malik was literally running from the man the whole fight, way worse than Lara Canelo. It was akin to Keith Thurman in the 12th round of the Garcia fight. Wilder will walk through AJ because he's simply not fluid enough despite having good fundamentals, having good fundamentals doesn't necessarily mean you're a technician. I need someone o explain to me how AJ is going to counter Wilder. Ortiz is the only person in the division that doesn't run from smoke and whenever Wilder loaded up for exchange Ortiz did too. Wilder fought scared the majority of the fight, he will not fight scared against AJ cause there is no threat of a counter. AJ has never demonstrated he's an effective counter puncher and when they fight it will be evident.

George came up in the 15 round days and was a beast sort of like Lights Out Tony. These guys are rare, sort of like, finding a virgin at a hoe house :yaay

In fairness to Ortiz's gas tank, getting smashed in the 5th took its toll on him just like it did Wlad..

Both sides nuthuggers like to say these two guys took the foot of the peddle but in reality they both were ****ed up and couldn't physically..

Yes if Ortiz didn't go down in the 5th he may have ended it in the 7th but he did and didn't...

Is that why 'Robotic Wlad' KO'd Wilder?

    Look at their physical shape.

Ortiz was nowhere near the same condition as Wlad.

Even Wilder's shower buddy Malik Scott said it was the best Wlad he'd seen in camp.

And that ought to tell you about the Heavyweight division.

Terrible resume, right? And he's still no worse than the 5th best guy in the division to scalp.

Wilder didn't force the pace at any point.

    He didn't make Ortiz gas.

    That wasn't why he lost.

But blatant fouls and a biased referee were far more of a factor. IMHO.

Yeah hes getting overrated, hes a slow static plodder who couldn't even stop Malik Scott! And he has a Cuban glass chin. He's about the 8th or 9th best in a weak division.
