Can we say that now it's the end of the small HW World Champion era?

I thought the tallest WW was 6'2" myself, but it really doesn't matter. There are weight divisions for a reason, there are no height divisions.

edit- also, when I see a guy who fights like Kid Dynamite and not do well then I'll shut the book on shorter fighters. Jean Mormeck isn't exactly a Tyson analog.

 

Lol Deontay Wilder is 220 pounds and 6'6. Anthony Joshua is 6'5, Joseph Parker is 6'3 and out of shape. You think there weren't 6'3 to 6'6 fighters until now? Since the late 60's/early 70's pretty much every single heavyweight champion besides Mike Tyson was between 6'2 to 6'5/6'6. Alexander "PED" Povetkin is 6'2 and tons of Euro boxing fans look highly on him.

The typical heavyweight now days is the same height as it been for 40 years. They typical heavyweight now is just either fat or on PEDs.

 

Not a chance, Wilder has proved that wrong if anything. He's smaller than most CW fighters right now and just knocked out a guy about 30 pounds heavier.
