Hehehe, I love creating these polls.
I've only started watching boxing in 2002 so I my knowledge isn't as broad as most of yous. I gotta say though that I don't remember a worse scorecard.

The 114-114 card against Mayweather was worse, the fight wasn't even close.

He won 2 rounds at best in that fight.

Yeah and won 4 rounds vs Golovkin, with Byrd giving him 6 extra rounds, compared to 4 vs Mayweather, yeah but they are both veeery bad

With those scorecards It's looks like Canelo is not the only one that would fail a drugs test!

Disagree. There is a way to give Canelo 4 rounds in the Mayweather fight. It's all semantics though because everyone knows he lost.

The Golovkin fight....there i no possible way to give him more than 6 rounds. 1-3 and 10-12 if you are giving him EVERY benefit of the doubt. The fact that Byrd scored 10 rounds for him is corruption at its finest. Along with Ford scoring round 7 for Canelo.

Worst scorecard I have seen IMO was Shumenov over Hopkins by Gustavo Padilla. I think Shumenov won 2 rounds of that fight.

You can look up various shout outs for "Robbery of the Year" and find fights that were legitimate clean sweeps in the eyes of 90+% and the scorecards come out the other way.

Golovkin vs. Canelo was at least a close fight. Not defending the terrible card in any way but it was a close fight with the rounds being more competitive than many examples in even the recent past.

    Good shoutout.

I was wondering what the cards were for Shumenov's win against Gabe Campillo...

    robin reid v ottke
the ref was 12 stone going into the arena and looked 20 stone leaving the arena in his big padded coat
robin reid after round 6 had to ask the ref if he was allowed to punch ottke without being docked a point for knocking him over or jabbing him

There was somebody here who reported that he saw a fight where a fighter got knocked TF out and they declared him the winner and paraded his limp body around and waved his arms for him. To me that takes the cake.

Given the magnitude of the event... It was one of the worst in a long time. It may be worse than Kovalev/Ward I.

Lets face it, there is a stronger argument for Ward 114-113 than Canelo 115-113. And Byrd had it 118-110 for Canelo...

I think James Jen Kin“s 120-106 for Abner Mares over Anselmo Moreno has to be up there.
I remember being a bit bias back then and i had that fight for Moreno. But Kin gave Mares every round.
(A lot of people had it a close fight, in line with the other judges 116-112 to Mares)

Also Canelo arguably lost every round to Floyd but C.J. Ross...
