Anyone else think Joshua losing weight could be a bad thing for his performance?

One of Joshua’s main strengths is his physical strength, and power. Him being a one man wrecking machine has seen him dominate through his fights so far, and even though people try and say he has no stamina, he was the fresher of the two in the later rounds against both Klitschko and Takam, so I think the stamina issue is overblown.

I think Joshua being heavy and strong complements his boxing style, and him unnecessarily losing weight is more of a disadvantage to him.

It depends. If his body adjusts to the newer and lighter version, maybe not. A weight cut could also hurt his stamina actually, for the very reason I mentioned. Just all depends on if he's used to his body at that weight.

The lighter he is, the greater the chance of a Parker upset.

No, I don't. He's been getting heavier each fight which has been a drain on his stamina. If he lost 10-15 lbs it won't be a hindrance on his performance. 30 lbs yes.

He should bulk up to 300 lbs. Who could possibly stand up to his power then?

If it wasn't for Wlads reluctance to pounce, AJ would of been stopped before he took a few rounds to get his engine back..If Wilder had AJ down,it would be over as soon as AJ got up.As Jim said 10 to 15 lbs would be ideal. That would mean most of it was muscle loss.Muscle drains energy.Put a 18 stone body builder through a fitness test with a footballer !!

As long as he doesn't over do it. 240-245 seems to be the ideal weight range for Joshua. His handspeed and stamina suffer when he goes over 245. Joshua would've ended Wlad a lot sooner if he was 240-245 instead of 250.

    243 against Breazeale

    250 against Wlad.

Well considering that Wlad weighs 250 pounds himself and has always maintained a slow stiff workrate doesn't that suggest he has a bad tank as well?

The reality is you can't have that good of stamina when you are that ****ing gigantic.

These big superheavyweights are effective when they can use their height and reach and potshot. That ways they don't gas.

Get them to work and they are ****ed. No stamina at all.

He was knocking everyone out and over powering them around 245lbs don't see how just being 5-10lbs lighter than the weight he was for Takam or Wlad would make him much weaker when he's so much stronger than anyone at the lower weights.

Joshua's issue isn't a lack or power or strength his most obvious weakness is his tendency to gas when pushing the pace. Coming in lighter might help, it might not if he's draining himself to make a certain weight.

Here you contradict yourself, and. .that he was fresher than those two proves nothing.
Wlad fights so methodical just to survive a possible long fight. Everyone knows he gasses after a short burst. If you can't out work him you can't out work anyone.
Size and physical strength don't equal stamina.
Parker has fast hands so we will see how AJ deals with it. Wilder, otoh, will crack AJ due to the sheer speed difference at length and "stamina".
