In all honesty, Brooks was not fighting like he was drained. ODH against Manny, is how a drained fighter looks. Brooks did slow, but I believe it was Spences consistent body work that did Brook in. Got nothing but respect for Brook! Takes on back to back division beasts and is calling for a rematch. Good stuff. How great would the sport of boxing be if half these fighters had Brooks heart?
At this point all Brook wants is paydays. Either his eyes or his heart will ket him down against the best.
By the 8th he was up on 1 down on 1 , level on the next http://www.premierboxingchampions.com/brook-vs-spence/scorecard
Lol but the fight was stopped in the 10th so you would have to at least count it from the 9th. You cant conveniently stop where Kell was still up on the cards, Errol was coming on strong.
I'd rather have 8 months off than have to come straight off the back of my first defeat to Gennady Golovkin who broke my eye socket, absolutely killing myself to make weight against a young hungry contender.
How do you know he was killing himself? Not to mention he chose to go up to 160 like a silly man, he could of fough Vargas in a unification then Spence.
He could of fought vargas for little money. Wasn't worth it. The money vargas wanted meant brook would of had to take a big hit on his own purse.
Spence was his mandatory, the fight had to happen or he vacates, hes a warrior, he wont duck a challenge, For the money that was on the table, thats why he moved up too fight GGG.
The money was on the table for the Vargas fight, he turned down the Vargas unification because he didn’t want to take short money. Instead he took the high offer for a fight he had no chance in and then he tried to stall Spence out. The dumbest move of Kell’s career was moving up to 160 to fight GGG.
Spence beats him again. I don't know why Brook is acting like they haven't fought before. Spence literally came to his home crowd and made him quit in front of his home fans. Brook did well; it was competitive. But Spence proved too powerful and had worked Brook out after the halfway point.
