Ole slack-jawed Scott The man is allowed and opinion but unfortunately he cant put it across in a way that doesnt sound a bit sour Anyone word on how his jaw is healing? I think Quiggs come back from the Frampton fight is intriguing, what path will he take?
I'll tell you what's boring. What's boring is that every time a microphone is put in front of him, Quigg will say one of 3 things: 1. I won the fight. 2. I would have won if I started faster. 3. I want a rematch. That's what's boring.....
Bloody hell, he is still at it! http://www.***********.com/quigg-refreshed-says-santa-cruz-beats-frampton-comfortably--104743
I don't think he sounds sour at all his post fight interview was spot on and he disappeared off the radar after that it's not like he was publicly crying robbery for weeks after the fight. Now he's on his way back people ask his opinion he's going to answer the question but at no point has he been disrespectful
Ok he hasn't been "whining" as such. But the simple fact is that he was clearly beaten and refuses to acknowledge that fact. He is now saying that Carl will lose to LSC ....because....."when I out him under pressure he couldn't cope". Now in fairness Scott had 5 decent rounds. But it is nonsense to say that at any stage he overwhelmed Carl. Scott is trying to rewrite history. It's just that after playing possum for 6roundsANY activity looked good by comparison. You are bound to have a few good rounds in you if you do nothing for 6 full rounds. You can't expect Carl to sweep the boards in every single round. He has to take it easy SOME rounds. But if looked at impartially, rounds 7-11 were close, and Carl was always giving nearly as good as he got.
The first 6 rounds were closer than the following 5 just because quigg did nothing Carl did little more. Your getting off topic anyway this conversation has already taken place. I think your issue seems to be that quigg has been asked his opinion and it differs to yours so he is obviously wrong
You obviously missed 9,10 and 11. The main point still stands, Frampton was able to fight at his own pace without exerting himself over the first half yet was looking sorry for himself in the layer rounds once Quigg actually started fighting.
This is the thing that eats away at Quigg, and will continue to do so: knowing that, in the biggest fight of his career, he could have started fast, but didn't. Instead, he threw hardly any punches and did next to nothing for the first six rounds. Even Frampton seemed slightly taken aback by the tactics (or lack thereof) of Quigg and Gallagher.
