Does anyone know WTF happened in Lomachenko’s second fight? I know he was knew to the pro game but hadn’t he had like 300 amateur bouts.

He learned that Amateur fighting is way different to pro fighting.

I'm inclined to think that is why he avoided Miguel Berchelt at SFW.

He's likely not trained to do well against pressure fighters willing to take two to land their one since punch count matter in the amateurs not in the pros.

Can't pick a kid, no matter how gifted, over Loma at 130. Especially when Loma would be the first decent southpaw he'd have faced.

Higher weights are a different thing. You not only get a Floyd who was physically more mature and filling out a bigger frame, you get a more experienced version as well. At 130? Look at the way Floyd talks about Davis and Loma to know his gut feeling on sending an inexperienced youngster in against Loma.

Loma wins but let's be fair to Floyd he's too good not to have some moments. I see this as a 11-1, 10-2 type of schooling but Floyd's stock actually goes up due to him being able to take a round or 2 of Loma.

Yeah, kind of agree, although i've got it 12-0 loma in a good fight. Floyd survives some scary moments but makes it to the bell. Floyd afterwards gets credit for not quitting

I think Floyd wins by one round if he is allowed to use an IV. He loses 12-0 if he gets fair drug testing.
