Oscar is not going to fight in September!!!

    Floyd Jr. pissed all over that parade!:yep Actually, I would have loved to watch the Superior Black Athlete school his EastLos ass all over the ring again. But Floyd Jr. has decided to DENY Oscar the chance at redemption, thereby limiting Oscar's choices, and the 3 month deadline to sign and promote is fast running out!:good

    Now Ricky Hatton has stood his ground and REFUSED an Oscar fight, and Manny Pac is tied up with his own fight, as is Miguel Cotto. That leaves Oscar some not so great choices for September, my guess is he wont fight at all until December, and then fight one more time in May of 09.

    1. Stinky Wright. Technically, a nightmare for DLH and with those two styles, viewing this fight is a potential rival to any tranquilizer like Seroquel or Trazodone. One viewing of 2 rounds, and the patient is fast asleep.

    2. Julio Jr. Now I'd love to see this, but Arum may be reluctant to feed his cash cow to the DLH moneymaking machine, at least not right now. This would actually be a great match for Oscar to retire to in May, and the kid might be ready by then, for a 36 year old drag queen.

    3. Sergio Mora. He has a title, and is a fellow Latino. The fans would flock, and money would flow, and OScar is a 43 time champion if he wins back his WBC belt.

    4. Zab Judah. Judah would take the fight in a second, but Oscar may be reluctant to face yet another SBA. :hi: :rasta :smoke

    Maybe if Mayo had a belt he would. But another possibility, if Oscar has any brains (And he and Schaefer combined, are almost as smart as a rock, boxing-wise) they could contact Team Trinidad and DKP. :hat

    I agree! However Oscar will demand that Tito come down to an insane weight perhaps if they met at a catch weight of 158

    Hmmm. I dont know if that would be a problem or not for Trinidad, but I know $$$ will be.

    This is only my opinion but I think Oscar has one hidden option weather or not he wants to exercise it is up to him, but this fight would make money and sense, not Cotto or Mayweather Jr kind of money becuase those fights draw both HardCore fans and casual fans, but a fight that would interest the true die hard fight fans would be a rematch with Ike Bazooka Quartey:good

    its a risk for sure, but I think DLH has gotten better since their fight, and being that Ike seems to get dropped when he gets hit by a good left hook, Oscar might want to reconsider.

    Mayweather is a chicken. He was scared to lose in this rematch.
    He knew DLH was too strong for him and that the rematch would
    be similar as Paul Williams victory in his rematch against Quintana.
