Frank couldn't even win the purse bid what happened to all his bt money because he hasn't spent it on great opponents for his fighters

Really excited for this one. A chance for Smith to become a two-time world champion. I reckon he will wear Ali down and edge him on points.

    Come one, Beefy!!

If Ali doesn't fold like the pieces of wet cardboard Smith fought in his entire title run apart from Canelo then Ali wins on points

So you expect Ali to win but...if Smith wins that means Ali is just another piece of wet cardboard? Mate, you are so incredibly negative about, well, everyone haha. At least you’re consistent :)

It's a difficult one because how shot was cotto why did Ali lose to Vegas was he struggling to make the weight did he have a bad camp or just an off night if Ali folds again I would give Smith credit because it would be his best win

Yeah hopefully he wins. I liked the way Smith shocked everyone by using a different style against Williams in his second fight. He showed he's got more to his game than many think. This is as good a chance as he will get to win a title 8n this division. If he does I would love him to fight Brook.

There is many things to critisize frank for, but this is just ridiculous mate.

It didn’t go to purse bids- they’ve obviously cut a deal and Smith is happy with his end. Who knows, maybe he fancies boxing in the states anyway and if he wins he does it live on HBO.

In any case, it wouldn’t make sense going to purse bids in this case, as Smiths only entitled to 25% of the pie and he doesn’t even draw any money in the UK anyway to make it remotley viable.

Good fight this.... if Ali beats Smith makes gives him a bit of name recognition for the likes of Brook to aim for..
Both coming of decent wins. I think everyone will agree Cotto is past his best and his timing was off for some of the fight but Ali is speedy moves well and that might ofset Beefy's move grinding head down and move forward. IF styles make fights they should gel pretty well. I just wonder if Ali's edge in speed might be the difference.

Where's Franks loyalty to his long term fighters doesn't skeete even have to travel for his Euro title shot I could be wrong but his given his new guys the world and the ones that's showed there loyalties when he was struggling are not getting nothing back

Frank has went off the boil a bit. He’s too busy chasing Eddie Hearn and trying to uncover a next superstar instead of doing the best for what he’s got. Stop the penetration of Yarde and Dubois and give the others some time to shine.

He’s number 2 to Matchroom and always will be solely because of Sky. There’s absolutely no shame in that, sooner he realises that the better... But he’s got a solid stable there. Come May 13th he could have a 2 weight World Champion in Flanagan and a two time World Champion in beefy and hardly anyone knows them! He needs to forget about trying to build a superstar and build up the profile of talents he’s already got. Once Yarde and Dubois get more experience then give them the big push.
