More thorough in the sense that I take into account everything that took place in the fight, I'm not saying I score better than the judges.
It's well known you can't improve a chin. Wilder still has the same fragile whiskers he's always had.
It's not self importance. It's a more refined way of scoring boxing fights. Scoring in boxing is so unrefined, so bad in the sense at it only considers damage/clean punching. Scoring in boxing has always been God awful and will continue to be God awful unless changes are made.
I don’t think wilder has glass jaw, I don’t think wlad had glass jaw either , but I’ pretty sure Joshua is all glass
Nope. As soon as Wilder faces a top level guy in his prime - as opposed to overrated, ancient fighters suffering from dehydration or high blood pressure - he's going to be annihilated. Of course, I expect his management to avoid this as long as possible and find some other frauds to feast on. Charles Martin anyone?
You DID say that about Stiverne and Ortiz if I'm not mistaken. You definitely said Stiverne would annihilate him when the matchup was announced, that I remember. We love you Prof, don't ever change!!! I do imagine that IF Wilder beats Joshua, it'd be one of the worst days of your life.
Can't wait until Joshua shatters that fraud's glass jaw. It WILL be a thing of beauty. I wonder if Wilder will: a) Do a chicken dance like Zab Judah b) bounce up and down off the canvas like Trevor Berbick against Tyson; or c) Get knocked out cold like Pac against Marquez. My guess is (c)!!
Well, Joshua shatters almost everyone's jaw, so even if Wilder was on that list, why would it matter? He beat Takam, Wlad, and will smash Parker too.
Nichols was well past his prime, on one week notice and was wearing Starter shorts/trainers for the fight and still put Wilder over . He was made to do the stanky leg badly vs a heart patient over 40 in Ortiz. His chin is horrific
I read somebody mention that it was similar to this and I agree. This content is protected Taking a few punches doesn't mean you don't have a fragile chin. You have to take everything into account.
Some of you make claims of being glass chinned, but Wilder isn't glass chinned. While he doesn't walk through shots like Balderthal, or Ibeabuchi, he does have a solid chin. He may get wobbled, buzzed, staggered, etc, but he has always worked through it so far. That was a clear knockdown, there was no tangling of the feet, or slipping on the canvas, he was knocked off balance by the punch
