I know mate I'm not complimenting him as such haha but if you was gonna look for eubank pros it would have to be them, your right, it was Billy joe getting tired that benefited jnr
I assumed it was his left that was injured as his jab is so poor . But if it's his right he just can' throw a straight. Just has terrible technique all round Massive waste of talent. Has iron jaw, fitness and loads of dog in him. Add the skill and tactics he's a real threat. Missing too many components as it is. Also he's a bellend
I keep seeing the massive “waste of talent” line but is it really? Physically he’s impressive, nobody can deny that. He’s a lot more blessed than Groves and BJS in that department and I’m sure they’d agree. But in terms of boxing talent I just don’t think he’s got a boxing brain that others are blessed with. So to summarise - Physical monster but without the brain to take it anywhere IMO.
If he was so pig headed and had a good grassroots he would be a lot better But it is what it is. He's topped out already and not showing any signs of improvement. He's done great so far though considering his limitations
I agree he's not this great talent. The thing about his fitness is fiction. Against the two top fighters he's fought he's only fought for half a fight. Yes he's finished strongly but it's not like he's fought at a pace for 12 rounds like Froch and Calzaghe used to do.
He's just not very good, can we stop talking about him now? I don't see him getting in there with a quality opponent again for a long, long time. Years even.
people with that level of arrogance delude themselves because they simply can't accept they fell short somewhere. they end up embarrassing themselves and ultimately become a joke "yep right, you won that one mate, and the other one, and the other one" he will keep losing and making excuses his whole life until he eats a bit of humble pie and becomes a real person. he should take a leaf of of Groves's book.
Back to making instagram videos of throwing 50 punch combinations on that contraption he's got in his gym while his old man wanks himself off in the corner.
Yes i should of been a little more specific...jnr seems a well rounded character out of the ring. Lol
He's a decent fighter but to be world level he's going to have to make changes, for 1 he doesn't punch hard enough at SMW to have the style has. If can still make MW I'd go down to MW. He's no Jab and basically just charges with his head and tries to land uppercuts. He finished that fight just as tired as Groves so either groves's poor stamina is a myth or Eubank JRs is! If I was CEJ or part of his team I'd move down. Rebuild (learn in Gym as well). Then wait till GGG and Canelo have moved weight and try and pick up a World title.
