Was it me or did Pavlik

I'll take a fighter who suffers flash knockdowns over someone who lets getting hit throw him off for sometimes minutes at a time anyday chinwise. Calzaghe's had flash KD's against guys he probably shouldn't have been dropped against, but I consider him to have a great chin because getting hit doesn't freeze him or cause him to compromise his gameplan.

This probably won't hurt Dawson too much for at least the near future, as there really aren't any great finishers at LHW right now. He's got to fix that D, though- for as slick and tall as he is, he shouldn't get hit much, period. Even if he doesn't, though, I see him doing very well in the future because he is a ***** of a matchup for anybody left in that division.

Joe doesn't even need to prepare hard for this, his style all alone is a nightmare for someone like Pavlik. It's an insult when a few people pick a one-dimensional fighter like that over Calzaghe who's skills are undeniable. Happened with the Lacy fight and will happen again, the sad part is that Calzaghe will most likely get the same amount of credit for this win as well.

I agree with you 100% I mean if you look at both Taylor fights, on the inside when Taylor would throw in combonations he would out work and out land Pavlik and pavlik just didnt have the speed or fluitity to keep up with Taylor.
This is all Calzaghe he throws combonations and Pavlik is pretty much a 1-2 kind of fighter. So to me as it stands right now, Pavlik is lunch meat for Calzaghe.

Yeah ok. He took some of Miranda's shots and was never hurt. It took an explosive puncher like Taylor 8 flush shots or so just to KD Pavlik. And he had his legs under him in 30 seconds. Yeah, what a questionable chin. :wall
