You forget, James' boxing history started in 2013 when Joshua turned pro, the year his first poster went up on his bedroom wall....
Joshua,s chin is average. In my opinion, and i am an AJ fan his biggest worries are his chin and his stamina which is down to his weight. It looks like he can be hurt and from what ive seen he can be stopped. But he has his own knockout threat and has a sound defence. If he had a rock solid chin he would without doubt dominate this division for a decade like Wlad. And even AJ fans deep down in their souls dont want that.
White looks so much stronger than when he fought AJ. He looked fat and out of shape when he fought AJ. I think that loss really spurred him on. Did you see the size of his biceps I think hes been focusing alot on muscle since that defeat. Not a bad tactic fight muscle with muscle.
It's not granite but it's not bad either, a guy with a bad chin wouldn't get up from that punch by Wlad.
Joshua's chin is okay, better than I thought after he took that shot from Wlad. But what is often forgotten about the Whyte fight is not the left hook which wobbled him, but the two body shots later in the same round which had him staggering back to the corner at the bell. Those hurt him way more. If he has a major chink in the armour, it's to the body.
Neither Lewis nor Wlad had a granite chin. That didn't stop them from dominating the division. Of course, they had different approach to the game (=boxed more catiously), but I'd still put AJ's stamina as a biggest question mark.
Lewis didnt dominate that long and had his fair share of shock KO losses. Wlad had no competion for 10 years, his chin was smashed a few times but once them people went we had nobody to test him, either too small and couldnt get past the jab or big enough but in no acceptable physical shape. Also i dont think Joshua is as good as Lewis and Klitchko. He can be hit, hurt or dropped weve already seen it. I promise i am a fan but i see what i see. He is the biggest player in this division right now there is no doubt but i cant see him dominating.
AJ's chin is decent enough, nothing more nothing less. Whyte's hook that KO'd Browne was a real nice shot but let's be real, it landed on an exhausted dude who looked shot to pieces. Saying it puts anyone to sleep is moronic. Chisora was eating flush Whyte shots for 12 rounds.
Granite? No. Granite wouldn't have went down. We've seen examples of granite with the Tuaman, Ibeabuchi, and the Nigerian Humpty Dumpty, Sam Peter though. Nobody can watch Wlad vs Peter I, and not see a great example of granite. Wlad was lining up huge shots, punching down, and landing flush. Joshua has a solid chin, not granite though.
No Brown was rubbish worse than normal.Brown would struggle to win a British title .slow out of shape and very easy to hit .proves nothing
