Im no where near sold on yarde...how could anyone be, he hasnt fought anyone yet.
Saying that i still wouldnt pick johnson to steam roll him. Yarde can punch, that is definate. I seriously dont know who id pick right now but it would be a great fight to look forward to im sure.

Hearn just getting his own back here tho with the amount of pressure frank been putting on him with tete and burnett

Has he really surpassed him though? What’s the plan for Johnson If I suspect the Yarde fight won’t be agreed between Eddie and Frank? He won’t fight Burton as there stable mates, Buglioni is on the scrap heap - so what’s next Ricky Summers, Craig ball? It’s hardly glamorous and that’s even if Hearn and Gallagher can keep him in the ring and not let him go off on one of his two year layoffs.

Why doesn't Hearn pull the trigger on a Johnson vs Buatsi match? That would be my response if I was Warren. Or why won't Johnson fight Hosea Burton which Hearn was so desperate to make for Yarde?

Yarde vs Johnson would be a great fight, but I think Hearn is trying to distract people from the Buatsi/Johnson match that he doesn't want to make.

That’s the last thing Warren wants to be saying! Because once the Buatsi hype train gets going the next stop is Yarde! And frank does not want that!

If the offer does get made Warren will just turn it down and say it's a step back cause of Yarde's ranking with the WBO which we all know is bull**** anyway. He shouldn't be anywhere near anyone's top 10 with the level of opposition he's been in with.

If he's so far ahead of these fighters at British level get him a WBO shot and feed him to Kovalev.

Neither Johnson or Yarde would fight Beterbiev, they were both offered a fight with Beterbiev..............it would be a murder in the ring, nobody wants to fight Beterviev...............

Soooo... has the offer been made?
And if so, did Yarde or Warren reply?

Hearn fighters have to be wary of being used in his battle to demean FW, is it a good fight for British and Commonwealth belt holder Callum Johnson? Not really.
I think Yarde wins anyway, beating a wide open Buglioni proves very little.

Indeed the buglioni win proves nothing. Johnson looked strong but very basic. Did nothing but sling one crude hook after another. He actually wasn't impressive at all. The ko 1 flatters him. Still unproven for me.

I think it’s a good fight for Johnson and Yarde.

Johnson - will come in as the underdog. There’s many flaws to expose in Yarde so he will good.

Yarde - he needs this more. He will win but he will get exposed somewhat and it will slow down the hype train whilst giving him a decent name on his record. If he doesn’t take this he’s going to take another padded Eastern European bum and dismantle him in devastating fashion and the calls were the Kovalev fight are going to be a lot louder. Slow him down in a tough fight and say he’s still not ready for Kov yet he needs a few more and nobody will argue. Put him in against a bum who he destroys and everyone will be calling for the big one next.
