    I know there are still 6 weeks until his fight with Usyk, but Gassiev needs to shed at least 40 lbs considering his current shape -

    He always looks in good shape come fight night. He's just a big guy. He's a big natural CW who will probably eventually fill out to a HW frame.

    He's not going to stay in CW for much longer. The allure of the HW division is strong, but he's also just outgrowing the division.

    It's common for fighters 175 and higher to be a little softer around the middle and the face than guys at 168 and below. Different body types. You don't have to be absolutely shredded at the higher weights. Just be in shape. As "fat" as Gassiev is he's no Fury, and I'm talking about the "in shape" version of Fury.
