If AJ had signed with Warrren not Matchroom, would his career be any different?

Would FW have been better or worse or the same???

Was Joshua success inevitable or do you have to give credit to Matchroom ?

    Worse without a doubt.

That’s no discredit to Frank, for all his faults he’s still a good promoter. Eddie has just took it to the next level though.

Under Armour/Sky Sports/JD as well as being extremely well media trained and tamed have took him to the next level.

Taking risks at such an early level too, Frank wouldn’t have done that. He would have padded his record with bums, maybe even avoided Cornish and Whyte was such a dangerous fight at the time. The Martin fight came along and quite a few doubted whether he was ready for it but Eddie threw him in at the deepend, PPV world title fights 15/16 fights deep was it? I highly doubt Warren would do that.

Whether he was with either he would’ve been a superstar because he’s a heavyweight and he’s devastating. I just think with matchroom he reached next level of superstardom and achieved it a lot quicker than he would’ve done with Warren.

Also I think the whole thing has made Warren a better promoter. He’s learning from the young buck Eddie about how certain things are done this day and age. He also seems to relish being the underdog and being wrote off so he’s there with his back up and a point to prove - which probably got him his BT deal.

Tony Dosh would be a World Champion in 2020 and self promoting by 2021 if under Warden

I dont know if you can say being put in with Charles Martin being thrown at the deep end... He probably is the worst HW champ of all time! Cornish?!? come on eh!

Warren wouldn't have paid Charles Martin that huge money to come over to the UK and defend the belt

Well he’s avoiding British champions for Yarde so why would it be any different for Joshua?

Charles Martin a lot were predicted to cause AJ problems if not beat him. He was still green. The biggest names on his record were an unknown (at the time) Whyte and Cornish! It was a risk and it paid off.

Fast Car Eddie has done a tremendous job with Joshua, there really is no denying that.
He would still be a star under Warren, but he would probably only be WBO champion and making defences in its top 10

Of course it would have been different. Would not been promoted as well had smaller crowds less endorsements less media coverage and earned less.

Imagine if Joseph Parker had signed with Warren (and relocated to UK) instead of with Duco Events....
    ...
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be champion yet and his face wouldn't be in every William Hill and pub with SKY this last week or two.

That's right, it makes better sense to move to the far side of the planet and sign with a chancer like David Higgins.

warren's a good promoter but progress is painfully slow.

We would be treated to such blockbusters as Joshua v Bogdan and Joshua v Laszlo Toth all while waiting for the WBO title to become vacant. Career progression would consist of 20 defenses against C level operators while Joshua plucks up the courage to ditch Frank and go solo to try and make some retirement money.

He's out of touch, isn't the best at matching fighters, I don't think he's any good anymore. Think Dean Powell' tragic passing never helped as he was a better match maker.
