If he wishes to unify the division, why has he not made a single offer to any current or recent former title-holder in the HW division to fight them? And when Wilder rejects terms for the Joshua fight because it isn't 50/50, will you also be critical then of financially motivated decisions? If legacy is at issue, with Povetkin already fighting, Parker already fighting, Joshua already fighting and having already fought Luis Ortiz, explain to me any other fighter who does a thing for his 'legacy' (no laughing at the back, Mr Nichols)?
Factor in that, for an American HW titlist, nobody actually knows who he is. You can't build legacy-defining fights if you do nothing to cross over into mainstream. He's clearly incapable of doing that in the US, but even fights with the likes of Whyte would do that in the UK. It would be a big fight, perhaps even PPV.
Speaking in generalities now. You've taken the Skip Bayless route here. But anyways do you want to keep this up and derail your own thread? Or do you want to stay on topic?
Then stfu lmao. **** are you doing in this thread trying to derail the topic!!!??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahah
He hasn't earned a shot at the man. Joshua is regarded as "the man" of the HW division. Wilder has to put in more work to justify a shot at AJ.
Molina got the fight because, due to IBF rules, there were only a few guys to choose from. Molina, Breazeale and Stiverne. It had to be someone in the top 15 of their rankings and most of the fighters were either tied up already, suspended, recently lost to a nobody etc.
