Anthony Joshua vs. Joseph Parker & Alexander Povetkin vs. David Price RBR.

The fight wasn’t close at all. Parker landed next to nothing and fought backing up, he was negative and the only time Parker had anything was when he lunged with a headbutt. Parker didn’t commit to any of his punches. I never want to see Parker again. Terrible.

Sorry could not score more than 4 rounds to Parker. Thought Parker landed the best shot in the whole fight. Both cautious and patient not many openings.

 

Well, you heard it first, Joshua ain't all that ppl. say he is. Got the win 116-112 and fair enough, he CLEARLY landed the more telling blows, but Parker ain't that good to carry him for 12 rounds. Actually solid defense by both, but much like Usyk-Breidis, I think the fans are overselling skills. This was a disappointment as far as HW bombing action goes and a slight disappointment in skills. Though Parker did better than most expected.

 

Parker got close, but fell away after 7.

 

Joshua 7-5. Like I thought, Parker highly competitive but ultimately not quite able to counter the range advantage consistently enough in what was always going to be a very tentative fight. Sky scorecards a ****ing joke though.

Parker’s gone backwards all night and despite potshoting he’s never had any success, I can’t see anything but a decent points victory here for Joshua.

Dirty fight at times. Parker coming in with his head, and Joshua responding by holding and hitting. Headlock at the end, and attempted uppercut, dirty stuff. Fairly lackluster and crappy fight. 117-111 or 116-112 for Joshua should be the scores.
