Now I can't blame Deontay Wilder if he refuses to fight Anthony Joshua in the UK

Are you forgetting how Wilder got special permission to recover against Ortiz?

Or is that allowed because it isn’t AJ?

Interesting that there are some thinking that the ref being over eager, was just helping Joshua.

No, I didn't like that either.

But what happened in the Wilder fight doesn't justify what happened today.

And how would that be any different if AJ fought Wilder in the US? Ref gave Wilder extra time to recover after he was hurt bad by Ortiz, and the judges had Wilder winning when the fight was stopped, even though Ortiz lost 2 of the 9 completed rounds in reality. Judges did the same thing when Washington should have been up against Wilder when he was stopped. How quickly people forget.

No but how are you gonna say this was worse than the ref saving Wilder from being stopped, and because of this you side with Wilder. What happened in Wilder vs Ortiz was much worse, but whatever. My point is this kind of bull**** is just as bad if not worse here in the US, and Wilder has been treated favorably by Judges and refs. But like I said, whatever you say.

How much did you Yanks get milked for with Mayweather PPV's? Wilder don't want anything to do with AJ. Talk is cheap. AJ done the hard work by beating Wlad and Parker to get more belts whilst Wilder is fighting bums.

I see corrupt officiating in the USA too.

I was so angered by the officiating in the Kovalev-Ward fights I stopped following boxing for a few months.

Well I can say with certainty if AJ fought Wilder here and hurt him like Ortiz did the same thing would happen, the ref would save him, and the judges would screw him.

Yeah Joshua needs to go yo america where they allow the home fighter to headbutt, low blow, have luis ortiz down on the cards and the ref gives the home fighter 30 extra sec9nds to recover

The ref will be rewarded with more high profile fights on Hearn cards... book it.

    Not what I have read.

Apparently Parker's team complained to the commission about his lack of English and inability to communicate with the fighters as well as a lack of experience on that stage.

    "Joshua won!"

    "No! Parker won!"

You guys are all wrong. The ref won the event and there's no close second! No debate about it!

The ref did stink up the fight for me, but why in Joshua's favor? Basically, the inside game, which Parker was winning (along with a good jab) was deemed unsportsmanlike or something? So now Parker has to outbox Joshua on the outside, which we knew wasn't gonna happen.

Parker landed solid body shots as well, when he could get in close, and I think that's why AJ couldn't bring it in those last 3 rounds. I had it 7-5 Joshua, but if the ref let the inside fight happen, I think Parker could have got to AJ earlier in the fight.

An OK technical bout, you could tell they were a bit in each others heads. No one really shot off the shots like they should have, except Parker early, who was denied that type of fight.

I think Wilder beats AJ off this performance.
