You think Hearn will allow Joshua vs mandatory contenders Pulev/Povektin?

Parker is better than Pulev for sure. Pulev barely beat Chisora ffs! Parker and Povetkin (38 years old) is even, but different styles.

 

I dont remember there being a 3 week training camp for Pulev. And i tell you what Ivan, Pulev is the one pissing the big boys around not wanting to take the fights when offered to him.

 

Pulev is no longer a mandatory after pulling out... He had a full camp.

 

Since Pulev comes from my country im supposed to root for him and say he is the best i guess but he simply isnt.Was may be top 5 fighter few years ago but not anymore.

Should of taken the Joshua payday 2-3-4 mil and retire.He doesnt want to take any risks and has boring fight style and also featherfisted and likes to clinch way too much.Will never be given the decision in the USA or UK against any top 10 fighter,might even get disqualified for clinching or knocked out if hes not allowed to clinch.He has only a good jab,no right hand basically.No uppercuts,no hooks and never goes to the body.

Pulev is like 50/50ish currently with lesser skilled but younger and active fighters that got a fanbase and are from USA or Uk which is a plus for them-Miller,Whyte ...may be even Parker although he might be a bit better.

So lets see Pulev is in a month hitting his 37th birthday and is with struggling dying german promoters 'Sauerlands' and has nowhere to go.Cant offer big money to get bigger fighters and is boring and has disgusting clinch foul style.Should of taken AJ payday and be done with boxing for good.

He is not from UK or USA and cant become a gatekeeper like Chisora and still make a good buck.And he doesnt have friends to give him light sparring sessions match titles and stuff either like Wlad was giving title shots and paydays to his former sparring partners and Whyte and Joshua want to fight 100 times and Chisora is waiting 3rd fight with T.Fury for some money again.

 

Joshua would destroy Pulev in a similar fashion to what Wlad did.

Povetkin is 38 he is running out of time to land a big fight.

 

Pulev is an easy fight for him. Povetkin not as easy, but a better fight for Joshua than Ortiz, Wilder, Fury, or Miller who would all beat him.

 

They held the presser 6 weeks before the fight and Pulev would have known well before that when the fight was taking place during the negotiations etc. Not to mention he was fighting eliminators to get to Joshua.

Pulev might have 3 years to prepare and still gotta lose by K.O or if he wants to run on the backfoot like Parker and lose all 12 rounds.Not much of a difference-he has no chance.

Povetkin is too small and will get battered also although i will root for him of course.Hearn should allow Povetkin to fight Joshua next otherwise why bother with that Price farce of a fight ?

 

Pulev was injured so he did the right thing to pull out of the Joshua fight. It was against his personal financial interest but it was for the good of boxing. He could have fought injured and take millions of $. He lost millions but he was fair with the fans and the game.

Now he has to climb the ladder again but he doesn't complain. It is what it is. He wants to be healthy when he fights the best. His decision may seems silly in today's commercial world but it deserves respect.

 

You don't have to say that he is the best just because he is Bulgarian or root for him. But the truth is that they are not giving him a fair shake just because he is from a small market and doesn't bring Big Drama Show. He is the best Bulgaria has and we will not have another one in decades, I am afraid judging by the way boxing does in Bulgaria.
