You do know Joshua has been consulting heavily with Wladamir Klitschko right?

Foreman was probably the hardest puncher of all time, so there is no shame in being a softer puncher than George Foreman, because he likely hit harder than any HW in history. Holyfield said 42-years-old Foreman hit harder than Tyson, Lewis and Bowe. And Foreman punches clearly had more impact on Holyfield comparing to Lewis' and Tyson's.

As for Mesi KOing Williamson in 1 round and Chapman stopping him in 4. We can play this game with Lewis too. Cruiserweight Orlin Norris knocked out Levi Billups in 44 seconds, Mike White with 15-7-1 record knocked Billups out in the fifith round.

That is my point. Wlad isn't the hardest puncher of all time. Which some other member of this forum stated.

We can play that game with most fighters. But nobody here said Lewis was the hardest puncher in boxing history. So many posters here keep saying Wlad is. It is hard to say who is the hardest puncher in boxing history is. Some fighters could suck so they lose all the time but they could be a harder puncher than anybody we keep naming.

Comparing AJ to Wlad at the stage of AJs 21st fight, i guess you have to look at what level Wlad was at in his 21st pro fight, he was boxing a fighter who at that time had a record of 11 wins and 6 losses, so definitely not world title contender level.

Was it Ray Austin that Wladimir knocked out without throwing even one right hand?

His jab and left hook were so brutal, he didn’t need his right in some fights

Wlads left hook KO of Chambers was really an impressive display power

Joshua may develop his jab further, but I doubt he will ever have the level of jolting jab power, speed, accuracy and snap, as Wlad’s did

Wladimir Klitschko was the better athlete and arguably the better technician. But Vitali Klitschko was the better tactician with the higher ring IQ and better adaptability in my opinion.

I dont know about reflexes. Vitali was taller and used a low guard lean back type of defence. Thus relied on his reflexes more.

If you take that style away I feel that Wlad has just as good or even better reflexes.

Vitali was the more naturally talented fighter but wlad was the more skilled athlete

Who was better is a case of what you prefer.

Vitali had better mental toughnes and confidence. The biggest reason why he didn't gass out like Wlad. Didnt put all his power in the shots. Looked for long fights in moderate fast pace.
