Just look back over the last couple of years at Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder and what they have looked to achieve and what they have achieved. I think if it were up to Hearn this fight would wait but Joshua wants it so Hearn will try get it made for him. Wilder has never made a step towards another title, Wilder nor his team have EVER tried to make this fight happen. Wilder said Hearn has never got back to him about all the offers, when asked what offers he said BOMBSQUAAADDD BABY. But didnt answer the question.

They both want the fight, the money is huge and it's obvious. But boxing is business and the fight ain't happening till 2019. They will build it up, Wilder will talk sh*t, Eddie will talk sh*t and they will make even more money. Neither Wilder nor AJ is ducking the other.

Listen, as a Brit who has see a lot of Hearn talking let me tell you that he simply cannot be trusted what so ever. I fully believe Wilder and his team on this.

Don't belive wilder wants it *but hes enjoying boosting his own publicity

Belive joshua wants it (he has shown willing to fight anyone already)

Dont belive hearn wants it (too much risk, would rather wait a couple of fights then get Fury fight made

While any promoter probably shouldn't be trusted, at least Hearn has actually negotiated with Wlad/Parkers team without any relative issues.

If it were up to the fighters I imagined we would see it in August this year.

I think both Joshua and Wilder want to unify, neither of them are scared of the other and believe they can win. But their promoters...

Hearn has said for ages now he wants it late 2018. While I do think he wants the fight, he wants it on his timescale to maximise profit. But he works for Joshua not the other way round and if AJ wants it next then he'll try and make it next, especially as the window for this fight happening is small, the sooner it happens the better.

As for Wilder's handlers, I don't think they want it. It's pretty clear they work one way and that's for Wilder to fight other Haymon fighters. All but 2 of Wilder's defences have been against Haymon fighters. The 2 that were not, 1 was a mandatory the other a late replacement for another Haymon fighter who failed a doping test.

Even the Ortiz fight was I believe forced onto them. Wilder wanted to step up and demanded a better opponent. When Ortiz failed the test he came out and said he'd still fight him, forcing his promoters hand to make the fight again. Showtime initially refused to air the Stiverne rematch too, which forced them to look at other options, such as Ortiz. So these 2 pressures forced Wilder's handlers to take a risk and even then they made sure they signed Ortiz to Haymon first before allowing Ortiz a shot at Wilder.

Nothing from Wilder's people makes me believe they want the fight, only Wilder on their side really wants it.

Hearn seems way more capable of subterfuge to me.

its now become a battle of egos between the 2 promotional camps.

Hearn vs Finkel/Haymon/Dibellend. Could go a full 12 rounds but I think Hearn will get the decision because AJ is the face of boxing right now.

I believe Hearn 100%, Wilder has proven 39 times out of 40 that he'd rather fight cans for small money. It's blatantly obvious one man (AJ) acts and takes dangerous fights, while the other will just talk about it (Wilder) while looking to fight people with no chance of beating him.

At least you know where you are with Joshua/Hearn. Hearn and nobody else makes the fights and regularly talks to the media. Wilder's team are all over the place. Who is in charge? I don't think they know.

im a brit too and i am very anti sky because of the hype and brainwashing with the casual fans, eddie hearn is very convincing with his talk but your right he cannot be trusted until he provides evidence of what hes saying.
