Regardless of the outcome, whether or not they got waved off - just times when you're left scratching your head at how somebody even managed to erect themselves post-devastation.

...and the rematch, same thing in reverse, MASSIVE uppercut:

Perhaps the ultimate example, and unbelievably one in which the man on the receiving end of the sledgehammer actually got the W:

Can't believe Holmes tried to throw a right uppercut with his hands down with Shavers only inches away from him. Ernie easily beat him to the punch.

And, you're right, it's amazing Holmes got up to win. That was a ko punch against 99 percent of guys.

At 7:04 Bernard Taylor attempts a right uppercut, but instead is felled by a right hand he didn't see which lands first. Taylor goes down like a sack of potatoes, hitting his head on the canvas. But, he rises and uses all his experience and guile to avoid Ruelaz's ruthless follow up flurries while fighting off the ropes. He recovers and goes on to win a 12 round UD.

Tommy Hearns getting up against Hagler. That was pure instinct. He had just enough strength to get up and that was him done. Thank Goodness Richard Steele did the right thing.

Knowing what we know now, Michael Watson getting up against Eubank was Herculean and the obvious mention - Ali in FoTC - not because it should have been a knockout but he really didn't need to bounce back up so quickly.

My personal favorite is Juan Urango getting up from Randall Bailey’s perfect right cross.

Frazier getting up 6 times against Foreman. One shot lifted him off his feet another was in the back of the head if not mistaken.

Thought it was pretty damn cool how Marquez rose up after getting blasted by the left hook of Katsidis. Man always had a fantastic recovery

I don't know how Razor Ruddock got up from that left hook that Tommy Morrison floored him with.

No sh*t. I was just going to post that one. The esteemed Ron Lipton claimed that Ruddock was out and hitting the canvas woke him.
