I get it that you hate joshua but at least base your hate on somewhat factual statements

 

Wilder will fight Breazeale next because Breazeale is owned by Haymon, and has alreadly been easily knocked out by Joshua. Joshua will fight either Povetkin or Miller next, however, I just read a report that there might be a rematch with Vlad, that would be the best fight of all...................Wilder will not fight Vlad, he has refused Vlad more than once..............Wilder is afraid of Joshua, don't know if we will every see that fight...............

 

Im sure Martin didnt turn up to hand over. I read on here how some were picking Martin to win and Joshua at the time had had less fights and was realistically a novice at the time coming off a tough fight with Whyte.
Breazeale however he is viewed is a current top 10 HW due to his wins

You are comparing opponents and champs at different stages of their careers.
Also lets not forget that it was several rounds of nothing between Wilder and Ortiz before it came to life.
So you think Ortiz is better than any of the opponents pre Klitschko and although I dont agree, dont knock that opinion because that is all it is on either part, but do you think but there are a few opponents pre Klitschko that I dont think would have beaten Scott more convincingly.
I think its very arguable that Whyte and Breazeale have a better singular win than any of Ortiz's

 

Why would I have forgot to mention Fury beating Klitschko?
That doesnt remove that Joshua was only a 18 fight novice at the time or what Klitschko had done previously or that Klitschko was due to face Fury in a return that got cancelled a couple of times. Klitschko was not retired and only out of the ring due to delays but not as if he hadnt been in training camps

I think the Miller is quite interesting. He works the body very well and seems to have better stamina than he ought to. I like Pov, always have. Style wise he can give AJ fits but he's on the slide for sure. Would still be a good scalp.

Obviously we all want the same thing next. But if an agreement is made for Aj-Wilder at the end of the year then I will happily accept one more interim fight. Wilder-Breazeale would be a very fun fight

Fighting a HW legend with only 18 fights, fighting a big punching champ with only 15 fights, taking a unification with only 20 fights

You just said it yourself , looked good against Brown who many favoured to beat him, who was an undefeated big punching former world champ

That doesnt mean anything lol. Where was Spinks after Tyson? Many fighters can be rated and take time off or retire after a defeat or win even. Fury hasnt been active since his great win over Klitschko. It doesnt remove from being a good win. Martin has had 2 fights since and won both

Poor offensively? Was 17-0 with 15 KOs when he fought Joshua and has had 2 fights since and won both inside the distance

Wlad was out the ring for around a year and a half but lets not forget that was only because he had 2 cancelled fights with Fury and not that he had retired or wasnt active. He had been in training camps. Many fighters have over a year out before another fight so that means absolutely nothing. It was a big step up for an 18 fight novice.
Do I think Joshua with only 18 fights would have beaten Wladimir if a few years earlier? Possibly not, do I think Wladimir with only 18 fights would have beaten Joshua with only 18 fights? Probably not. It was a big step up for an 18 fight novice

Who knows if Ortiz could or couldnt. We probably wont know, but you say he had offense but I didnt get the impression it was as much as you say when I watched him against Scott. Who had Ortiz beaten as good as Brown who Whyte has beaten or some of Breazeales comp?

I would like to see Fury back and healthy. I think he could beat Joshua and Wilder but who knows?

 

What undefeated HWs had Ortiz beaten? like H Fury?
Ortiz beat Jennings but I think its debatable to say he has beaten someone at Chisoras level even though I rate him highly also
Its not a dig as I respect and admire anyone who does what these great athletes do

 

When people bring up AJ’s impressive scalps, they never mention Charles Martin. A undefeated world champion, because as soon as he felt the gust of wind from one AJ’s shots he was looking for a way out. A woeful heavyweight who got lucky picking up a world title. That’s obviously not AJ’s fault, whom was actually laughing at how easy it was to knock him down. Let’s not even put him in Ortiz’s bracket. I just don’t rate Breazeale at all. They can rank him as highly as they want, but he’s nowhere near world level. Joshua is world level, and Breazeale didn't belong in the same ring as him.

Wilder knocked him down in the 5th. Arguably that’s a significant point in the fight.


This isn’t about hating on AJ. He’s the best active heavyweight in the world. Klitschko was a great win. It wasn’t the best version of Klitschko but I think time will show us that it wasn’t the best version of Joshua either. Ortiz was a very good win for Wilder, too. He showed a heart and a chin in that fight against one of the most avoided fighters of the past few years. Avoided because he was very high risk, minimum reward.

 

Some sense above with a real perspective on the Heavyweight scene since the end of the Klitschko era which was widely regarded as the worst ever in the Heavyweight Division.

Now it is even worse at present and surely the standard will rise again in the next few years.

 

Let's face it, no matter how you try and present it there are people with an agenda against Joshua/matchroom/casuals. Regardless of opposition haters will always find their reason to hate.

What is even funnier is that the haters then try and use Wilder's record as some kind of stick to beat Joshua with. This being one of the worst/padded records in Heavyweight championship history.
