Peter McGrail put Kenya’s Benson Njangiru on his back twice in round one. He looked every bit the class act as the referee stopped the bout in the third with Njangiru sporting a deep cut.

The man in blue is one serious medal hope for Team England. European champion, he knows he can go all the way here and he has some serious support in the stands as shouts of “do it for Liverpool” and a take on the standard Anthony Joshua tune break out. “Ohhh Peter McGrail....”
