I think Spence made it clear in the beginning of the interview that he had a past relationship with Linares, they used to spar. He seems to think highly of Linares and that people are overlooking him, and he thinks Linares could win the fight against Lomachenko. Spence doesn't appear to have any personal issues with Lomachenko.

 

Well you know the answer to that and you can hang on to it if it makes you happy.

But tell me how many fight was it before Spence actually stepped up?

And who did he face in his 2nd pro fight?

 

What is Spence supposed to say, Loma is the best thing since sliced bread. Hell naw, he is not impressed with Loma beating paper champions, old men and underweight over achievers. GTFOH with that yak. Loma is alright but that's it.
