James tillis ": “Tommy hit harder than Tyson, so he´s second behind Shavers by my experience”.

Pinklon thomas “I couldn´t believe how all his punches hurt. I thought there was something suspicious about it, he hits way harder than Mike Tyson”.

Ruddock "tommy did hit slightly harder than tyson"

Prime Mike Tyson had any arsenal of punches in volume coming from both sides to body and head thrown with bad intentions. Watching both over the years and prime vs prime, Tyson was a better puncher although Tommy's left hook may have been hardest overall.

Morrison did hit hard like a son of ***** .the problem was that he was a crappy finisher actually, look at him against ruddock he could not finish it well and donovan was semi died after the hook

    Tommy was a drug cheat.

But really “this guy punched harder than that guy” just means one guy landed a better punch in that particular fight than the other one managed against the same guy. It’s not like a Pepsi challenge. Nobody gets a free shot at their opponent. There are a lot of factors involved in a competitive situation.

Take Tillis. He fought Tyson when he was having a good night. Tyson hit him but Tillis was having a good night so he was a second quicker to react than on another night.

I don’t believe Tillis was so ready to respond to Morrison as he had been with Tyson several years and many losing fights earlier so undoubtedly Tommy was able to trap Tillis full force of his blows. Absolutely Morrison stood more chance by then so Tillis isn’t lying. Morrison would have caught him with more force than Tyson could have hoped to.

Wasn't there a little of the peek-a boo to Morrison ,similar in a way to Floyd and Tyson ?But he did have a kind of way of throwing his punches and his body like Patterson .

Morrison said that his 2 idols were marciano and patterson and he was a mix of the 2.

Tommy's hook has continually been rated up there with Frazier and Dempsey. Tyson through those beautiful very hard combinations but Morrison may very well have had the harder hook. He just couldn't always deliver it as well as Mike.

And Pinky came up with this estimation while on his back after Tyson finished him or 4 years later on his stool after he quit against Morrison?

No, he could've been Lamon Brewster. But Brewster still had way better stamina so maybe not.

His left hook was shorter and his handspeed faster, but I don't think he hit any harder than Tyson.

The problem is that it is not about opinions of the people.it is about the words about every fighter that fought both them
