I think a lot of it is not upsetting the apple cart.
A lot of his articles are simply blame summations. I think boxing is the type of business where if you write something bad about the wrong fighter you suddenly find yourself out of a job. I mean he works for ESPN if he says something non PC or doesn't toe the party line he will be unemplpyed id guess
