In what world is this a 100 million dollar fight? AJ Parker was a 40 million dollar fight, no way this does more than double the numbers.

So what he hoped for is now a bare minimum?

According to most Wilder fans (and even Team Wilder).. Hearn talks absolute rubbish, boasts, always exaggerates but this week his words are bang on the money, in fact he is underplaying it?

I'm actually lost for words, I've never seen a group of boxing fans (Wilders) contradict themselves, chop and change their minds and the "rules" so much never, even Mayweather and Pacquiao fans were nowhere near this inconsistent.

Actually, Maybe Canelo fans are worse, the PED issues exposed them as a huge bunch of agenda driven hypocrites.

The Joshua vs Wilder hype is real stateside. It will definitely make more than the $40million of Parker vs Joshua. Wild man Wilder deserves a fair share of the pie, around 25-35% + ppv

I agree. It’s despicable that Hearn would offer a man 12.5 million dollars, a purse 6x bigger than anything he’s ever earnt before, but maybe Hearn thought Wilder had enough brain power to negotiate and come back with a counter offer. Or maybe he only offered him 6x his biggest ever purse because Wilder said he would accept ANY offer if he got the same split in a negotiated rematch. Damn you Hearn you despicable man!

Yes. He’s looked at what the fight does at its worst and made offers accordingly. He’d be pretty stupid to do anything else.

I’m not a Wilder fan, so the rest is nothing but waffle & straw man.

How is AJ vs. Wilder a 100 Million fight? Wilder is completely unknown even in his HOME MARKET. He's never been on PPV!

A guy who is proven of promoting big events and has a promotional company which makes money. I would certainly listen to what he says rather than some forum posters who seem to think money just appears from thin air and this fight will break records.

Wilder deserves PPV revenue? That's a new one. How many of Wilder's joke fights were on PPV so far?

Historically, if a fighter was offered a career's best payday and turned it down, it was seen as a duck. That was the phrase, "career's best payday."

"Despite being offered a career's best payday..."

I know things are different now, but that's the way it used to be.

Hearn is lazy and has no vision. He is depending on the popularity that Joshua has generated in the UK to pay his bills when the potential is much bigger than that.

None of Wlads fights were ever on PPV going into the David Haye fight , yet he demanded and got 50% of the Sky BO take.

Answer this .. How many of Molina's , Tatums and Martins fights were on PPV?

It was better in the old days when fighters were content with affording a mansion with a gator filled moat, a tiger or two and a humble handful of exotic sports cars, and the passion was with the actual fighting instead of in the spreadsheets.
Just make the damn fight already.
