Couple of things...

1. It’s only the initial stages of negotiations. There hardly going to go in with the best purse are they. Look at the Parker negotiations.

2. No one actually knows what the fight is worth really will the get US PPV if the fight in the Uk?

3. Why does every act like it’s eddie Hearns job to make Wilder rich. He is a promoter for AJ his sole aim and purpose is to promote AJ... his fights and make AJ as much money as possible.

The point the OP is making is that Hearn has already contradicted himself on the fight in terms of what it will generate, as he often does when it's of benefit to him.

 

He’s an annoying business/sales man.. says what he needs to to keep the majority happy

A lot of people see straight through it. It’s clear Hearn doesn’t want the fight yet

 

The caveat being that Hearn's optimism was based on the fight being built by Joshua fighting in the US to build his profile over there and Wilder fighting Whyte to build his profile over here only Wilder didn't fancy the type of treatment his compatriot Jennings got when he mouthed off online only to find out that Whyte will not tollerate Americans gobbing off.

The cold hard truth is that by Eddie Hearn's and British Boxing's standards, in terms of Widler's career to date, Al Haymon is a failure and Lou DiBella is a failure.

Joshua fights Pov In UK then Miller in US

Wilder fights Whyte in the UK then goes back home to the US and fights parker

And then may Bank Holiday wilder v Joshua push the card for a 00.00 start to the fight in the UK or have an early card start in America so fight is on at 03.00

 

Not at this point dingbat, Wilder and AJ are not a big enough draw in the states yet.
