    Khan was a national amateur champion and unbeaten pro and is an incredibly popular coach at the gym. Shafiq is a young fighter who knocked out the English champion in his last fight.
    The Ingle gym has a history of attracting fighters from outside Sheffield (Herol Graham, Slugger O'Toole, Herbie Hide, Chris Saunders, Junior Witter, Jon Thaxton, Esham Pickering, Carl Johanesson, Bob Ajisafe) who became champions. The "90% bums" became better fighters and happier better people. I doubt you'd last 2 minutes.

    Shafiq had a career best win last time out, so hopefully fighters like him will improve being around such quality. You have to remember the Ingle Gym is different to most pro gyms as it rightly sticks to its origins, were it is to help people in the local community by giving them focus and support. So on this basis it's always going to have fighters amongst who won't go far in the sport, but if it helps them as people there done their Job. Agree on Tyan Booth, if I was them I would put him out my gym. Be interesting when he bumps into Froch lol

    You have incredibly low standards if you think they are achievements worth noting. The fact is they are both very poor low level fighters. You wouldn't catch other top trainers working with them lol
    Atif Shafiq has a loss to guy with a 1-4 record AND a 1st round KO loss to a novice.

    beating Lee Appleyard is hardly a great achievement! Ive seen Shafiq quite a few times and he's terrible. Almost all his wins are against guys with losing records and he already has two losses to a novice and a journeyman.

    adam booth worked with that poor eubank who got a gift on the monaco bill but that was more the name then talent lol and shafiq is trash he got a gift to a journeyman called alexander lol great fight
