Love how the AJ dicksuckers think they're promoters now :risas3:. Just stick to being fans.

Two fighters yapping is not the same as people negotiating. This will be worked out behind the scenes. The rest is just hype.

Hopefully he's had his twitter account removed because they thought he was 5 years old based on the inane content (even by twitter's standards).

Wilder's playing games. He wants more money and everyone knows it. But eddie isn't taking the bait this time. AJ and Eddie are in control, and deservedly so. If he wants to hold that WBC belt, then so be it, he misses out on a payday. I hope that 12.5m offer or whatever it is, is a 'take it or leave it' offer. I really do, just so these americans can shut their mouths for once and accept that they are inferior to us. Look, Joshua doesn't desperately need the belt, he can just go and beat some bums, then he can face Tyson Fury, which generates more money than Wilder could ever dream of getting with his fight against AJ.

AJ and Eddie have got the upper hand, and I'm loving it. Anything to put it in Deonkey's face.

Pretty clear many Joshua fans don’t want the Wilder fight…

True, but both sides have elected to bring a portion of these negotiations into the public eye so updates will be expected. One side going quiet, even if it is for the purposes of serious negotiations, is going to look bad and be treated with suspicion, when it could so easily be rectified with a short statement or video. Plus Finkel himself said they'd respond with a counter offer in a couple of days after they initially rejected Hearn's offer. Why say that and not deliver? Just seems a bit pointless.

I guess a flat fee isn't the way forward, but with each fighters average purses, I can see why there is an argument that Wilder should consider taking it, especially if it is a take it or leave it situation.

I mean, can you just imagine Wilder's conversation with his misses...

Wilder, "Hey baby, I ain't taking that Joshua fight. ***** trying to rip me off."

Wife, "Good for you, baby. How much they offer?"

    Wilder mumbles, "12.5 million"

    Wife, "Say what!"

    Perhaps that's why he's missing.

As a sportsman in the US Wilders annual earnings of $3.5M to $4.5M (assuming 3 fights) wouldn’t even put him in the top 500 bracket of the highest paid sportsmen or women. There’ll be basketball, baseball, MLS, female soccer players, NHL and NFL players earning many multiples of what Wilder earns, Hell therell be UFC fighters and even WWE wrestlers who earn much more than Wilder.

Wilder desperately wants and needs a fight against Anthony Joshua and for that reason Hearn holds all the cards and calls all the shots!

Just relax dude, i am sure we will here from Wilders team shortly, the silence is a good sign, it means the Wilder team is all focused on the counter offer, dont let these fellas upset you they are just having fun.

Just curious, does anyone know how much Wilder was offered to fight Povetkin in Russia? Is the Hearn offer more or less than that?

Wilder thinks shouting Bombsquad at the top of his voice constitutes a fight negotiation. Doesn't help that his management are also complete muppets.

No way is this fight taking place this year.

The counter offer might not be public.

This thing isn’t going to get worked out with each side saying “This is our offer” and “This is our counter-offer” on YouTube lol.

There doesn’t have to be daily social media updates. Wilder is going to talk. Hearn is going to talk. AJ is going to talk. And none of it matters ... what matters is what happens when they actually get together and come to terms.

If they announce the fight in a week or in a month-and-a-half, no one is going to care what was or wasn’t said today.

Exactly. Finkel would have informed Hearn they want more than what was offered. Hearn now considering how much higher their next offer will be.

It will be cat and mouse stuff now until they either get the deal done or they don't.

Jesus Christ, it's unbelievable to me that so many people are actually thinking AJ/Hearn's offers are reasonable.

How about a reasonable percentage just like every other ****ing big fight.

Wilder has been putting forth completely standard offers. 40%. An almost ridiculously reasonable starting point considering Parker got 33%.

It's Hearn/AJ that are putting forth these weird and nonstandard offers.

A flat payment is ridiculous. No one knows how the fight will turn out. It will probably be huge, but there's always a chance it won't be due to some unforeseen complication. We just saw all the bull**** that happened with Canelo/GGG.

Team Wilder is supposed to look like a bunch of ****ing ******s by taking 12.5% after Parker got almost 3x that percentage?

Team Wilder is supposed to risk getting nothing by guaranteeing AJ $50M when there could be some complication and the fight doesn't yield much?

Wilder is trying to just get a standard fight deal done. AJ/Hearn are responding with this crazy bull**** and you defend them.

What the **** is wrong with you people. Go jump off a cliff.
