Derevyanchenko would wreck GGG at this point

Derev is too much for GGG at this point. GGG's left hook wouldn't save him vs. the versatile Derev who has a much better and versatile attack and he also moves much better than GGG. I actually think they are trying to almost hide GGG at this point. I very sincerely doubt they get in the ring with a guy like Derev at this point in GGG's career. Derev might be the best middle in the world just based on talent alone. He's like a bigger version of Hi-Tech.

Derev does have talent but GGG would beat him. Derev was supposed to fight Andrade with each fighter getting 250,000 each but he turned the fight down, while Andrade agreed to fight. This tells me his team isnt that confident in him, Andrade is a good fighter but not unbeatable.

I guess you got this story from Andrade's Twitter. For what it's worth Lou Di Bella strongly denied it, he said that Derevyanchenko agreed to fight but Andrade turned it down.

GGG has had his peak. He has looked beatable in several fights now.

I just LOL whenever I hear Andrade's name being brought up. People aren't afraid to fight that dude and he really isn't all that good. He is a marginal talent.

I've watched a bit of Derevyanchenko and he's certainly an excellent fighter. He seems like a very complete fighter, he has nice footwork close up and he's got some bone-rattling combinations close up. He really did a job on T.Johnson. That said, he had a few problems getting set with Soliman, and he doesn't have a terribly impressive jab. He is also in no ways comparable to Lomachenko who is levels above him when it comes to defensive nous.

His problem with GGG is that he seems hittable and that he's facing a master of distance control who also happens to possess a great and heavy jab. I think Sergei would certainly be a stiff challenge for GGG, and I think he might well make it to the end, but I see him falling prey to the Golovkin jab over the long haul. I'm not surprised GGG isn't exactly eager to get into the ring with Dere on short notice; frankly I think he'd have more problems with him than Clenelo Runvarez.

GGG looked quite vulnerable to me against Kell, Jacobs, and Canelo.

I can't believe you expect a fighter to look perfect in all fights especially when he's aging. The GGG standards are ridiculous lmao.

GGG is scissors. Derevyanchenko is rock. I'll bet on the rock.

    No. Golovkin knocks him out.
