You're talking about the Rodriguez fight. Ward gave a pretty clear explaination. Rodriguez was working with Victor Conte, who, in turn, was working with VADA. In Wards eyes, this was a red flag, for obvious reasons. Another reason is, Rodriguez's team brought up testing after the contract for the fight was signed. Ward questioned, why they didn't bring testing up during the 2 month negotiations. Makes sense, but I can see how people can be suspicious of Wards actions.

 

Cuadras is listed on boxrec as VADA enrolled. So was it VADA or some comission test that he got caught in? Anyone know?

 

According to WADA refusing a test is equal to failing a test.
I don't know the details of course, but it seems he refused the mandatory test directly after the fight, which always should be a bannable offence imo.

 

That's BS. Conte was brought in as a consultant years ago when Goodman and Don Caitlin were starting VADA. Otherwise Conte has nothing to do with VADA. Ward's just afraid of the CIR test just like Mayweather and Marquez and coincidentally their drug, I mean strength and conditioning coach Memo Heredia. Heredia is really allergic to VADA.

The irony though is if you believe Ward, then you should not be calling Pac a cheater either since Pac was actually right about Fluid's influence on USADA. Is that the point you're making with Ward? Cuz if the glove fits... er doesn't fit you must acquit.

I never called Pac a cheat and always said Mayweather has to explain his abnormal T counts and IV use. If I were a betting man, I'd bet FM cheated Pac too. Ward not sure.

I don’t usually go for the race thing but if you look down the list you do have to question the motive behind it,so many black Americans on it including Floyd name underlined in red indicating he’d not been caught but was questionable kind of thing lol

 

Lol of course PAC was a PED user,I never use the word cheat since the athletes don’t view that way but to jump divisions and retain power like a hot knife going through butter just isn’t normal and in modern sport if looks too good to be true it nearly always is.

Man I like what I have seen from Cuadras in the ring, exciting fighter, throws a lot and so on, that bacne was always annoying me (well, it looks awful to be honest, but also raised suspicions). But the fact that he himself just straight up refused the anti-doping test? I mean that just makes it really hard for me to feel bad for him.
