Is not that Broner is not disciplined, Broner is a coward, relative to boxing standards

The word coward has negative connotations, I will say that without a doubt in my mind, his temperament does not mesh with his style fighting. The way to measure this, is with a bravery gauge, meaning he doesn't rev up and take it to the next level, in order to win.

We have many, many limited and flat footed fighters out there, who are aware of their limitations and will do anything to win or get brutalized along the way .
Broner is not oblivious to the fact that he is losing a fight and he is content with just going into his shell. This aforementioned shell is non existent when he knows he has the upper hand over his opponent.

Again, I measure this as how much is he willing to risk (bravery) and up until this point, to me is is obvious that it is not much, relative to other fighters

And then when asked in the post-fight interview about how the loss will affect him moving forward -- much as he was in his post-fight interview for the Porter fight -- he'll shrug and make some throwaway remark like "Man, it don't matter: I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing."

Someone also needs to inform Broner that him shaking his head when an opponent lands a clean shot isn't one of the criteria that will see him win the round on the judge's scorecards.

Surprising how so many boxers do that. Might as well just turn to the judges and say, yeah he got me good that time.

Too true. It's an obvious tell that he needs to stop doing.

I wonder what the over/under is on how many times Broner will shake his head throughout the duration of this fight?

Broner’s problem strikes me as a weak ego, not cowardice…it keeps him from expanding on his skills in between fights and when he gets in with someone with more skill than it would appear his natural abilities can over come, he knows they can’t…and rather than hyper focus those natural abilities with the skills he does have, he comes unglued, gets less focused, and grows more wild, which gets exploited even more…

In a nutshell, it’s easy for a skilled boxer with enough power to get him out of his game…

I liked Broner early on but, really grew to despise his arrogant immature mentality. But I don’t think he’s a coward.
