I fell asleep and missed the main event. I blame the Tete fight.

 

Frank Warren asking the Belfast crowd if they want Windsor Park next expecting a huge roar only to be left with enough silence to hear a pin drop was my highlight of the night.

 

My recording didn’t show that.

 

I am a Frampton fan, and even though he was clinical last night.

He hasn't been in an enjoyable fight, for the spectators since Chris Avalos.

His power is non existent at featherweight.

I actually think a fight between him and Lee Selby would be the antidote for the worst case of insomnia ever.

Regarding the card, how exciting was the Cummings and Luke keeler fight. What a tear up

Was working last night so had to avoid the board and catch up.

1st up, Khan...what’s he doing, 2 years out the game, in desperate need of rounds, why stop him so quick? Carry him for a couple of rounds, get your timing and rhythm back, try some new things. I know I sound harsh but it was egotistical. He needs rounds.

Coyle & Dodd. I’m happy for Coyle but felt gutted for Masher. He wasn’t on point at all tonight. Stayed in the pocket way too long and as a result copped some sickening body shots. He hasn’t got a big punch so it made no sense trying to trade. Coyle really found his rhythm in the 3rd onwards and did some lovely work. Them body shots were tremendous.

Conor Benn...athletically brilliant, but yet again copping too many shots. Use the jab & set your shots up instead of trading. Obviously after the last fight, Hearn put him in with a non-puncher to take away the risk. It was like letting him ride the bike but with stabilisers on. He’s not building on the things he does well and it’s frustrating.

Frampton was excellent, some lovely shots especially that straight right. He just switched off in the 11th and ended up in trouble. Apart from that, I don’t see a decline I see an improvement and someone who has a few big fights left in him.

Try and get a look at Keeler-Cummings from the Belfast undercard. A great scrap. Horrific cuts on Keelers face but he boxed really well to win.
