    Interesting, bold list. I seriously had to google Tom Cribb. The bare-knuckle era seems to be forgotten, although you've done good to try and embrace such memories. I don't know how to evaluate that transition era, especially considering the lack of official records or bouts being known.

    For your criteria, I'd think that Tyson deserves the spot. In a sense, he's got almost a modernized historical legend to him like Dempsey. The difference is it's surrounded by controversy and Tyson's fall much more dramatically. That takes some sting out of the 80's Iron Mike legend, in a wholesome goodness sense... but I'd see he meets all the other categories besides longevity far more effectively than Dempsey and others on your list. Just my opinion.
