This because any more defeats from either of them and the fight is done.

What I don't want to see is both treading water fighting weak opponents to make sure they both don't lose.

    Khan v Broner is a BS fight. Broner isn't a 147 fighter.

Brook has to be fighting a top 10 ranked 154 fighter next. Julian Williams or Maciej for example.

In reality Brook v Khan shouldn't be a thing when Khan is saying:

Let’s see if we can make the fight. Let’s see if he can make the weight because 150 was the weight I did for this fight, but I really wanted it for 147.

“Hundred per cent, it has to be at 147 if it’s going to happen.

Hearn no doubt wants it but he also can put Khan in WW fights which will make money so its not the end of the world if Khan v Brook doesn't happen.

This is how I feel. I really don't care if Khan v Brook doesn't happen. I would rather see Brook take on the top 154 fighters and become a 2 weight champion than fight Khan

Problem is for Brook is the 154's above him now are monsters. He's a big 147 fighter but I don't think he beat any of the top guys at 154. The Khan fight may be the one that gives him a real big pay day.

Ali would be an interesting fight but Smith is next in line - Brook V Smith is a decent fight but it wont generate huge hype I wouldn't have thought

It does but what's brook going to do? If he wins at 154 his eventually going to get into a mandatory position. Not forgetting I think the champions will see Brook as a decent payday for them so I don't think he will have any problem getting a shot. He can't not fight those hanging onto a Khan fight which may not happen.

Hearn has said brook wants to fight in July so say he wins that and looks impressive the next step is either a title shot or an eliminator.

Khan will play hardball and insist on 147. Brook cannot put his career on hold waiting for Khan to agree to 150

Let's say Smith wins. Hearn could make an offer but is Kell even ranked by the WBO? Also realistically where we would this fight be happening. Manchester arena I guess but Liam Smith isn't really a big name and it definitely not a PPV fight.

It's definitely a fight I would favour Kell to win.

Someone like Jarrett Hurd is a bad fight. He is huge compared to brook

I’m like many others, I have no desire to see Khan v Brook. They’ve had their best days now. Khan has ducked Brook throughout their primes, not through fear of the man but for fear of the damage to his ego and reputation. Getting smashed against Canelo hurts a lot less than getting smashed against Brook.

If this fight does happen, then it’s a Bellew v Haye scenario where both know they have little left to fight for in their respective divisions, and are just looking for a retiring payday.

See I still think the fight has merit. This isn't the same situation as Haye, even had he beat Bellew its clear for all to see he hasn't got much left. Brook is only 2 defeats removed from his prime and OK taking opponent into account he still looked in good shape and with a dig in his last fight. Loosing to GGG and then falling late in the fight to Spence is not to be ashamed of.

Khan fought a patsy but still had his chief attribute speed.

If they got it on next the winner would have the push behind them to go for a legit world title again

Let’s be honest, Khan could demand to fight at 140 and Brook would probably try. It’s obvious Khan don’t want the fight so not sure why Brook is still wasting his time persuing it.

Khan would be an idiot to take the fight above 147,,

Khan is a joke, he's never wanted anything to do with Brook. Excuses every time. 150 catchweight is perfect, both men get filthy rich in a fair fight. He's terrified of not being the no.1 brit in and around his weight class.

Agree. Khans just a waste of time nowadays. If there was ever a perfect fight to make its this one. Both around 150. Both fought around the same level. Both totally different styles. Both British where the money seems to be at atm. Both will make millions. Its easily the biggest fight either can make.

Khans always been too mentally immature for boxing tho. Hes actually regressed as a man from the 17 that lit up the Olympics. Too many yes men later and your left with a guy that's deceiving himself into believing le greco,s a good win. He almost cries when brooks name gets mentioned.
Its time for him to man up and take the fight. Stop running/stalling or beating up guys that are absolutely useless. Got to be at 150. Brooks done at 147. Khans last fight was 150. 150 will still be a disadvantage for kell.

Even just looking at khans fight at the weekend. In thirty seconds he threw something like 30 punches. No one can keep up that output. The top tier guys can absorb that and keep coming back. Khan has to work too hard to keep up with anyone good to try and counteract his lack of boxing IQ.

Looking through his career anyone that's had any sort of offence has either beating him or punched him about the ring.

Its just smaller guys or guys with no offence that he,s beating up on. Brook has size and a good offence. Probably why khans never wanted the fight.
