There's deffo a sideshow to this deal... is Al trying to turn AJ's head? Even if he loses a few million staging the Wilder fight, maybe he sees that as an investment should he prize Joshua away from Eddie 'Silver Spoon' Hearn....

Except that social media is what Wilder used himself. They didn't suggest anything was fake. In fact, they asked about a contract. That;s wrong?

What on earth are you on about. Did you not read it in context of the quoted comment?

This would be hilarious if it happens.

Lol, this turn of events is hilarious. AJ better assert himself and take this offer. This also proves Eddie Hearn is a fraud. He's not anywhere near as wealthy and big financially has he has pretended to be. The offer is bigger than AJ's entire net worth in one fight.

Just said on Sky news that Wilders team have cancelled tomorrows meeting and that there still has been no contract to sign, proof of the money or any more details on the fight itself, but it also said that both camps have said they want the fight and want it next. Tbh tho if both continue with half assed offers like the flat fee and the trust me i got the money but rest is a secret offers then this fight wont happen for ages if at all.

If that meeting is cancelled, then surely one of the sides isn't playing ball. It's hard to tell which one it is though. It could be wilder's team using the 50 million offer, acting like it is real and running away when it comes to sitting at a table. But it could also be Joshua and Hearn being scared off cause they think Wilder's team mean business...

Whatever happens, Haymon has likely created friction between AJ and Hearn. AJ said yes to the deal in the blink of an eye, Hearn was more circumspect. I'm sure someone will know on here for sure, but isn't AJ coming near to the end of his deal with Matchroom? I know he signed a three-year deal in 2015. Has he signed a new one? $50m is a helluva sweetener...

I read it perfectly and you have no idea what your talking about if you can't differentiate the difference between a fighter who's not that smart anyway and a REAL promoter who's job it is to promote and talk about fights!

AJ's marketing and Sky contract is the key to his success. Hearn would have made Wilder the same money if they were together too.

Haymon has shown zero aptitude for marketing. Look at the PBC flop.

Wilder probably shouldn't get 40%, let alone 50%

Are you ok? In the head and all that?

Th original comment was no more social media (wilder).

So I just pointed out Hearn uses social media for the same thing and has been doing since the Wilder fight started to be realistic.

Doesn' matter who is a boxer or promoter. Weirdo

Hearn is a fraud because he doesn't want to offer Wilder a purse 20x his previous biggest purse? Get real. You Wildettes were the same morons saying Golovkin should take 5m flat against Canelo not that long ago.

Hearn's a pampered ***** but his offer was legit. We're yet to see if Wilder's dyslexic email is.
