I know he is not working for ESPN or Showtime anymore, but he used to give a lot interviews to the journalists. He is very quiet since Loma-Rigo
He’s under contract with ESPN unless the contract recently expired. My guess is he’d rather be paid sit on his ass than breach the contract and get involved with any other network.
Who cares, good riddance to him. Hated the guy. He had to make everything about himself, and not the fighters in the ring.
Would love to hear his game on meatto# And the agree to this without said contract by midnight Cinderella Thinking ajs Bentley will suddenly become a pumpkin Living in a America That is the American dream right there
He got benched cause he spoke the truth and Bobby Arum didn't like it ! He's stuck calling early morning fights in Japan now instead!
ESPN have sent Teddy Atlas back to school. He'll be back on air when he passes the course "How to score a fight 101".
He just worked the Murata broadcast on ESPN lol. He got benched after his on-air disaster with Stephen A. Smith after the Lima-Rigo fight. Kinda sad cuz he really lived for that job lol. He may have sucked at it but it was kinda like listening to your wacky uncle at the Thanksgiving table whenever he would talk
Teddy was too much of an alpha savage for the dorks that run these premium networks. He simply had to go
He had a lot of flaws but at least he never blatantly hyped fighters and called BULLFECES where he saw it. And when you're essentially standing alone screaming the truth about corruption, it does kinda make him the incidental focus. I'm sort of nuetral in terms of him really. But what I like about him is actually why we aren't seeing him lately.
Arrogantly and enthusiastically shouting into his bathroom mirror, using an inverted shampoo bottle as an impromptu mic...
Teddy is a polarizing guy. Loud, brash typical New Yorker. Fearless, confrontational and necessary when shouting about corruption, he has the way of making everything about him - undermining the good stuff that he does.
