Why do people devalue Pacquiao titles. Most of his conquered foes were strong champions.

Most people don't, that only happens in the Twilight Zones, otherwise known as Boxing Forums.

Good point. You don't really see people often devalue Pacquiao's titles in the media. But then boxing is rarely covered in the media. Basically all my boxing comes from YouTube and the internet. And Pac's been racking up paper titles according to these idiots on this board for years.

I'm the biggest Manny Pacquiao fan in the galaxy, but you should not label the 154 a Strong Champion. While Margarito came into the fight in the best shape of his life with a kill-or-be-killed mentality and 17 pound weight advantage, he was not a champion at 154.

He was a strong 147 champion. Had he not ran into Pacquiao and had his eye ruined he may well have went on dominate 154.

He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past. And sadly, this generation has become despicably well versed in propaganda, and hate is a far more powerful motivating factor than love when it comes people controlling a narrative, another despicable term, the only thing you can do, is passionately fight fire with fire, and try to reverse the false narrative hat the haters are attempting to foist upon the unwary and uneducated masses.

I wouldn't say it was a strong win for the 154 belt. As good as margarito was at 147, his success 7 pounds north didn't follow. They fought for a vacant title as well.

I'm a pretty big Manny Pacquiao fan. So of course I have bias here. But I'm trying to be objective and I just don't see it. It being the numerous paper titles that Pacquiao won. As I've shown in the OP Pacquiao actually went through stiff, and at times downright ferocious/harsh competition to win his titles. I'm not saying the dude is God, but come on. The false narrative here is despicable. As he fought extremely tough competition throughout his career. Especially to win his titles. The defenses ok, that's another story, particularly the 147 defenses. But Jesus Christ, these internet dummies make it seem like Pacquiao ran through 8 David Diaz clones.

he had many catchweight fights due to the fact the he was fighting above his normal weight class. it was for making his fight competitive and not for taking undue advantage to increase the chance of winning.
