completely agree... prime tito's @ 147 his power didnt translate to 160 like some one like Hearnes' did..
Tito Trinidad would be very competitive, but ultimately, I would expect Pavlik to land cleaner punches, knock Tito down, and end the fight around the tenth round. Just a case of a bigger, more acurate puncher defeating a smaller one.
at what weight? Pavlik can't fight at 147[never fought at this weight]...so @ Middleweight Pavlik by K.O/UD
Exactly why Tito needs to retire. He can't cut to a weight that will bring his punch with him. He is a fighter who relys on punching power and he just don't have it anywhere north of 147/154
Well clearly the fight is at MW, and obviously Trinidad was nothing but an ABC title holder not the man at 160. That said, Pavlik is the quintessential throw-back type fighter, which would spell trouble for a brawler like Trinidad. Trinidad will always be a GREAT fighter at WW, and maybe even at jr.middle(but not really imo), bottom-line, at middle he will be remembered as nothing more than a contender.
Tito in his prime was a welter weight and Pavlik is a huge middle so your prime for prime argument is a moot point. No one with any sense should see it any other way.
Tito's prime was in a different weight division, Tito belonged to 147 and 154. This is an unfair match up, even though Tito would fight KP
