Do boxers lift weights? I’m assuming low weight high reps?

A video of a guy doing a front flip and a journal article on a vertical treadmill for rehab? Oh yeah, the connection to lifting weights is crystal clear.

The problem with strength training is that people automatically equate it to bodybuilding. Boxers don't need bodybuilding methods designed to create hypertrophy and the muscles getting bigger and bigger. BBers methods are also designed to work with lots of synthetic help.

Boxers need strength and lifting weights properly will achieve that. The other issue is that people look to the "old school" boxers who "didn't lift weights" and fail to realize that most of them also did a lot of hard labor to build their physiques and strength which most modern boxers don't do so there is no foundation of strength building outside of lifting weights.

Look at the physiques of the old time strongman before steroids and what they could do. They were limber and strong and did not carry huge amounts of weight on their body like modern bbers or other athletic steroid users (football players for instance).

Nobody understands you. Your esoteric and vague posting style is just how you avoid having to explain your nonsense.

Why post videos on this thread in the first place if you’re not going to explain and contribute to the discussion?
Nobody understands, if somebody does then they could do everybody a favour and explain it since you refuse to.

Scrap already said before that he has some problems with expressing his thoughts, so maybe thats why he sounds so "esoteric and vague". BTW, 10 years is a small time, some training styles waited decades to be used massively f.e. pilates and yoga. I respect Scrap because he showed some good boxing footwork and conditioning drills and also showed that he knows things about boxing training. That is the reason I think that vertirun is not a bull****, and it has its purpose.

You said it would be on the market very soon and gave a similar story about some woman who couldn't walk before using this thing but after using it for x amount of months she went on to win a marathon or something about 5 years ago.

If the thing works for it's purpose then fair enough, but you've made some very strong claims about this thing without presenting any evidence. It gets boring eventualy.

I have no problem admiting I have trouble expressing my views, but I can still get a point across. Scrap's posts basically amount to "Look at this......." then posts something entirely random. That's not helpful.

    True.

It's fair enough if he's actually helped you, but posting a video just saying "wow" then saying he shouldn't have to explain anything as the people that know already know isn't very helpful to anyone.
