GGG is just an all round great boxer. Alot of people dumb down his skills as a brawler, but the way he systematically breaks down his opponent with pressure and constant heavy jabs is a thing of beauty. Even in the Canelo/Jacobs fight, when he got pressured/countered, he didn't look flustered or panic'y. The only weakness to GGG now is mother natures clock. The only way i could think of beating GGG would be someone who has a longer, faster solid. jab that could constantly keep him at bay, like Joshua vs Parker. Just holding the distance behind.
why must you resort to such imbecile name-calling? are your responses really that weak that you can't engage in dialog normally and have your points rest on their own merits? (oh wait I forgot, you admitted your response was weak)
I mean, I still think Golovkin beat Canelo, but it wasn't a one-way fight, nothing close to that really.
If Canelo stepped with his jab, he was going to throw a combo If Canelo did not step with his jab, Golovkin knows he can counter him and not expect anything in return. The problem was, Canelo knew Golovkin was fighting off of his timing but his only answer to that was just pot-shotting.
You need to be a boxer puncher with speed, chin, power and footwork. Basically the total package. Alvarez and Jacobs ran and lost because they couldn’t handle GGG’s pressure and power.
