Let's accept it. Bellew destroyed Haye, David looked helpless and couldn't do anything.

Haye needs to retire, he won't be able to compete with any current top-10 HW.

I'm surprised to be honest, not by the result, but by how much sharper and accurate Bellew was, he threw the kitchen sink at him the first fight and couldn't get a clean KO. This time more composed and accurate, huge KO's. Fair play Bellew.

    Agreed. Haye is done!

I thought he fought like an idiot in the first fight, but in hindsight, he shouldn't have taken that fight either.
Haye looked like an old man tonight. No pop, no speed, less movement than ever... he was journeyman level.

Full credit to Bellew, he is a tough man. He said he could, he said he would, and he did.
He waited for Haye, he broke him down with a clinical performance.

Bellew was sharp, his timing was great and I was genuinely surprised that Bellew was patient when he first hurt Haye.

Haye's days as a boxer are over.
Maybe he can promote some talents now

Most surprised at how easily Haye was going down. Absolutely shot.

Haye did well early on when he stuck to his jab and boxed Bellew. But by the 3rd he was looking predictable, getting countered and quite frankly Bellew was only just getting going.

Bellew is just too good for this version of Haye. Haye does need to retire. He only came back after losing all his money in Dubai and the fact he came back at such a low level against 2 nobodies and Bellew suggests even he knew he wasn't the same fighter as before.

Haye now has a stable of fighters under his Ringstar promotional company, he should focus on being a promoter not a boxer, his time in the ring is done.

Twice in the third. Once in the fifth and was going to drop again.

Really seemed to be extremely shaky every exchange from the middle of the third onwards though.

    Bellew was never wobbled.

A great performance from Bellew and full credit to him, but it's sad to see Haye in such a state - I know there are many who wont share that sentiment but I feel it's always a sad moment when a former good-to-great fighter gets shown up for being shot to pieces.

Down twice in the 3rd, once in the 5th then stopped on his feet.

He looked OK in the first 2 rounds. But he was slow, Bellew actually had the quicker hands, he was wide open to the right hand and once Bellew decided to go up a gear he basically walked right threw Haye.

Outstanding stuff by Tony Bellew. Wasnt sure what was going to happen tonight but a Bellew stoppage wouldnt of been top of my picks. He once again predicted it all in the build up too. Shoulda seen the signs for David though from that sparring footage the other day, other guy couldnt miss and neither could Tony.

Dont want to see him shooting upp the heavyweight rankings though those big guys would crush him. He seems to be a legit monster at Cruiser though.

That's how I feel. I picked Bellew, too many people were talking about the Haye of years ago, that fighter is long gone as we've seen, but it's still tough to see a once great fighter laid low by age, injury and hubris.

He used to boast of quitting when he reached 30. I think it's a shame he went on too long as so many do.

The destruction of David Haye happened a long time before he got in the ring

I know it sounds stupid, but it is hard to believe how much age plays a big factor in a boxers performance. No matter how many levels above your opponents you are, age over a relatively short time makes you a below average fighter. So sad!!!
