The David Haye vs Tony Bellew 2 prediction thread

Haye early

 

Am leaning towards quite a brutal Haye KO early as well.

 

My take is that last time, Haye knew his achilles was gone before the fight started - hence why he came out windmilling like Wilder on steroids.

It really was the most amateurish performance I've ever seen from Haye.
If he is injury free this time (we shall see!), all he has to do is box like he can, set up Bellew with the jab, and he should take him out inside 4 rounds.

Haye early or his body fails him down the stretch. The long fight talk seems like a ploy. He is aiming to blast Tony out early and I'm leaning towards that. Haye probably has me fooled but he looks much more focused and mentally ready. A 3 or 4 round fit Haye is enough to get the job done. If Bellew does manage to drag it out it will likely be another scenario where Haye was on top but cause of injury he lost in later rounds.

 

Haye will retire in his corner between late rounds due to a hurt eye lash or a bruised ear lobe.

 

I was wrong.

Based on my post, it's obvious I gave no hint Haye could knock Bellew out.
I was right.
I was solid in stating Bellew wouldn't get dropped becaUse he already felt what David had to throw.

I thought Haye would play it safe and hope the judges see it his way.
I was just too careful in thinking a fight would brake out, so there goes my prediction.

turned out it happened! Couldn't see it live, but I'm sure ther will be more than enough vids available to play 5 times in a row

 

Only me and one other poster here predicted Bellew to win.

Lots getting caught in the hype of a physically shot fighter who is only fighting on because he is broke.

 

I got it completely wrong and hats off to those that called it right. I was far too cynical in thinking the fight would be close and pan out in a way that would pave the way for H-B 3 - and another big payday. It was a proper fight and Bellew was just too good, accurate and durable. As shot as Haye was, I give him credit for getting off the floor like that, in what has to be his last fight. Must have known he didn't have a chance.
